Sigh... curse you anime for giving me unreasonable expectations for actual females. I'll never find a real girl who's that lethal. T_T
Now now, I'm sure you'll find a psychologically and emotionally unstable lady with a liking for firearms some day. There are still over 6 billion people in the world anyway.
Heh. I can only dream. I'll take knives too, she doesn't have to be a firearms nutcase. I'd prefer to skip explosives though.
U no like Holly Summers?

Spoken like someone who's never handled high explosives. The normal stuff's dangerous enough. Home made? Yeah no thanks. When a nutcase pulls out the chemistry set I'm checking out for the nearest point out of the blast zone and all points beyond stat.
I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn
Lemme at least leave a good hoof beat they'll remember loud and long

Actually I've handled quite a bit of explosives over the years. Yes, an idiot trying to make plastique with a chemistry set is probably going to end up blowing himself up. Which is pretty true of anything involving idiots and unstable chemicals. However, it can be perfectly safe as long as you understand the chemicals involved and take common sense safety precautions. (Don't shake the Nitro, store your explosives someplace cold and dry, avoid sweating dynamite, make preparations to drown the reaction if needed, don't just wander off while brewing explosives, and don't store sodium anyplace it can get wet)
For real stability in chemicals, 1 part RDX and 3 parts flour is stable enough to actually bake with, as long as no one hits the bread with a hammer while it's still hot or tries to eat it. It won't kill you, but you'll feel pretty sick afterwards.
Also, I seem to recall someone, and I think it was on this very forum, using an anti-tank mine as a painting bench for (IIRC) space marines. Not sure if it was you though or someone else.

Fate is in heaven, armor is on the chest, accomplishment is in the feet. - Nagao Kagetora
Not like I know anything about the subject, but that would be really frigging awesome. Provided the mine is disarmed. If not, at least I'd go in a unique way, and be free to say "feth you" to all stupidity present. Including mine, at the time.
Oh and I've finally got back to AoT after a four week holiday, so I'm at episode 16 now.
A discussion of Superman Returns lead me to TV Tropes, which lead me to One Punch Man. It's a webcomic and then a published manga about a man who trained for three years, trying to become the most powerful superhero in the world.
He succeeded.
The webcomic has awful art, but the manga is wonderful. It's fun to read despite the premise (a man so ridiculously powerful that he can defeat any foe with a single punch) seeming like a recipe for boredom. There's one minor character that I hate the writer for creating, but I have no complaints about anything else.
"When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."
-C.S. Lewis
If you got a guardsman rampaging like that, then a destroyed predator is the least of your opponents worries. That was a slaughter-fest.
Also, it looks like the upcoming fall lineup is going to be a good one.
Why?
Why to which one? If it is the guardsman thing, then that was just a play off the video. It was a slaughter-fest, and that guardsman would be causing fear in them SM. If it was about the upcoming fall lineup (which I think it was), then I said that because IMO there is going to be a lot of shows that I will be watching simple as that.

Except Log Horizon. I never read the manga, the show just looks cool at a glance
I think Soladrin might feel the same way as you.
