In other news: OH GOD-EMPEROR ABOVE, Kill la Kill just keeps getting better and better and better, soon it's in big competition for my "favorite anime of all time" spot. Every damn week, when I think I can't like Satsuki any longer, something happens to make me even more fanboy.

Yeah, the characterization in that show is surprisingly good, considering how insane everything else is.

I think Arpeggio of blue steel is my favorite this season. its the only show I jump to watch compared to just watch at leisure. Well, maybe I also like outbreak company and monogatari second season that much too. Arpeggio is my favorite.

Kill la Kill is so OTT that it bleeds awesome. It reminds me so much of Gurren Lagann, and that is a really good thing.

You know there are a lot of really good anime on this season; it makes me very happy.

Kill la Kill is indeed, utterly awesome - verging on obscene in terms of fanservice, but still absolutely badass!

I kind of expect almost nothing less of Hiroyuki Imash (Hint hint, he helped animate one of the episodes of FLCL, and Directed Gurren Lagann and PSG before making Studio Trigger and working on Kill La Kill), So far, I am really liking Kill La Kill.

I don't need to mention my Kill la Kill's opinion, do I?

Non Non Biyori is my close second, Silver Fox and Golden Time competing for third.

Special mention: Tokyo Ravens: It has Kon <3 that is all.

Ooooh I forgot Tokyo Ravens. That show's awesome. Tokyo Ravens gets the tie with Strike The Blood. Silver Fox isn't a tv show for me as much as it is massage therapy for the soul.

So Onii-chan Vilmon protects his Imouto, Harbi-chan? (I know they are not brother and sister, I am just making a joke with it) Also, this picture makes me want to put down some money on Harby to make a Giant Rei Ayanami version of her even more. I do not know why...

I would watch it in a heartbeat.
Although I am planning on painting my Cygnar force in the color scheme of the Krishna army in Break Blade. So to me, it is already pseudo-anime.

When I watched the first episode of Kill la Kill I thought it was stupid, and the only reason I kept watching it was because I recognized the animation style of Gurren Lagann. True to form, it is just as awesome.

Also, I'm surprised at the lack of mention for Beyond the Horizon. To me I lump it in with Blood and Ravens as having similar overall premises, but it's my favorite of the three. Definitely like its animation style the best.

Oh, and I'd totally watch a tongue in cheek chibi anime based on Warmachine. The inept shenanigans of the Lich Lords would be hilarious.

Hark! An an overarching plot appears in Yusibu! And the rivalry over poor Raul seems to be gaining members!

Meanwhile in Strike the Blood things seem to be putting on steam, I'm glad we have a full 24 episodes in this one!

and meanwhile in IS Sister issues abound, and it's not Ichcka and Chifuya for once!

Got to episode 8 of Kill la Kill (awesome, as usual) - but animeget doesn't have #9!
still, that leaves it at one helluva cliffhanger!
I'm going to start Gurren Lagann, and if I don't like it, maybe Berserk or Claymore - one of them has to bee good, with all the talk about them!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Looks like Claymore and Berserk will have to wait - loving Gurren Lagann already!

I've not actually started Claymore yet, I have trouble watching more than one anime at a time, but thanks for the heads up - I shall temper my expectations, come the time!

Gurren Lagann, huh? A good choice but...

Again, cheers for the heads-up!

Mind you, no guarantee I'll actually finish it, usually by the 6th episode I've decided if I like a show, and by 10 I'm only continuing if I really enjoy it.

Kinda why I've given up on one piece really, I was expecting the usual slow build up, team building and moralising that comes with the territory, but after the whole "Captain Usopp" bit, I just couldn't care anymore. Got to the restaurant bit, and gave up.

I mean, I like Luffy, as far as the "surprisingly capable idiot" shtick goes he's not a bad example, and Zoro is pretty cool - But Usopp annoyed me the moment he started talking, and the episodes seem so padded out - and this is from someone who watched the Bleach filler arcs!

I like a bit more relentless non-stop insanity - probably why I liked Kill la Kill as much as I did!

Oh man, yeah. One Piece is the KING of Slow Burners. It only really starts getting good around the Alabasta arc, which is itself incredibly long and frustrating. And that's like, 10 arcs in? I suppose Wappol's arc is pretty decent too.... But when it actually gets going (the Impel Down arc? Whoo!) it really gets going.

Yeah, it gets good once they actually get to the Grand Line.

Fortunately its one of those shows you can casually watch and its not a big deal if you leave it for a while.

yeah, my plan is to leave it and watch a few other series, then maybe skip ahead a bit if that doesn't help - Patience is a virtue, but so is knowing when to cheat!

BTW, anyone heard of "Chrome Shelled Regios?" it came up while I was looking for Claymore, looked like it could be either pretty good, or really bad

Just started watching Kill La Kill. After episode 2 I posted "What the hell" on my friend FB wall as he originally told me to watch it.

I still have no idea what is going on other than
Spoiler:
These "clothes" give people superhuman powers and the main character is after info about who killed her father

The outfit design made me think a bit, usually I'd be fine with it being anime and all. Maybe I'm just getting old XD

But yea only watched a few eps, need to catch up with alot of anime tbh haha.

EDIT: Supposedly I'm in Sweden, thats odd lol should be in the UK unless the Swedes invaded overnight.

It is made by Imashi, the same guy who did PSG and Gurren Lagann, so kind of expect it to kind of be very much out there.

Speaking of which, I need to catch up with that and Infinite Stratos, and finish up Ergo Proxy.

I remember that series being fairly Meh, not really bad though, but I recall a lack of ending or one that made no sense, like they were expecting another season.
