OI! It was self-defense! Gendo clearly assaulted Rei with nasty thoughts in mind, Rei defended herself! It's not her default the side-effect was the reboot of the entire human race! It was perfectly justified!

Finally got around to watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - Now I understand the hype, I was disappointed by the original series, but Brotherhood is orders of magnitude better, IMO.

Why do you taunt me so. I have seen every episode and I am going to be watching it after dinner. This makes me sooo impatient.

D-frag is definitely a very funny series. Wacky things just keep happening and how could you resist Takao...

nope, can't.

I know what you mean. Takao is ridiculous. Ever since that character first showed up, when she shows up, my heart melts. Calling her adorable doesn't do her justice.

Just caught up on Dfrag because sleep is for the weak and I'm stupid.

I have only this to say beyond reinforcing that Takao is super awesome/cute.

Nice one. I almost spit coffee all of my computer. Let the shipping begin (and if not I will have to hit people with some intimidation lvl2)

Just watched all of broken blade in one go.

If you like mecha even a little... watch it. It's an amazing show. It consists of 6 50minute episodes.

The oddest thing about the series, it's a mecha series without a single explosion.

Due to the nature of the world this takes place in it's really interesting. The mechs aren't mechanical nor biological and would probably lose to anything we made in world war 2.

If you want me to tell you more about it let me know, otherwise, just go watch it.

There's only one way to describe my frustration for the 12 hour delay, making me unable to watch kill la kill before I arrived @ work and forcing me to wait until I return to my motherland later on:

Spoiler:

Good Gods, can't wait 'till I'm able to see it once I arrive home.

You have no idea man. No idea. I mean serious, this episode was so damn good. I'm using words to describe it, but know the words are inadequate and merely used because trying to type the incoherent stream of sounds of swear words that were my actual reaction to this episode would be too tedious and likely get my account suspended.

Watched all of Innocent Venus yesterday, pretty good for a 12 episode series.

Probably going to rewatch macross zero this weekend, it's been like 6 years since I last saw it.

Kill la Kill:
It goes full M.Knight Shamalamalamalamalam and I was totally right last week.
Ragyo is still an increddible .
Satsuki's father is... Gary Oak!
Pretty big spoiler for who didn't see ep18
Spoiler:
Holy gak... I was right all allong!
Dr. Matoi was just the one who found Ryuuko
Ragyo killed Satsuki's father... and the thrown away child is... you know who! She never died.
Satsuki got a little sister!
You'll see it quite early if you look at some of the tiny hints early in.

Next week it's going to be a Elite 4 episode apperantly.

If I rumble even further... Dr. Matoi kinda looks like Satsuki's dad... So he might have survived until Nue came. But he would have aged really really fast then... But then again, they both had massive 80s haircuts.

Macross Zero isn't so bad, kinda feels like a prequel to Macross Frontier actually.

EDIT: I'm currently watching Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha right now though.

That is a whole lotta mahou shoujo. I just recently finished rewatching Nanoha before moving on to Victory Gundam (watching 0083: Stardust Memories got me in the mood for more Gundam.)

The whole reason I started watching magical girls this year is because I was stupid enough to try watching NGE again. Let's just say that I didn't bother trying to finish it and moved on to cute if deadly girls with guns and magic.

EDIT: And technically Nanoha is a Gundam in Human form. She is the 'White Devil' after all.

Our tastes are slightly... opposite, you monster.

NGE is the epitomy of cute.

Anyway, I remember loving Macross Zero, it's just been ages. That said, it may just be because of the daisy cutter.

What I'll be watching in coming days:

Kurogane no Linebarrels
Gaogaigar
S.T.R.A.I.N.
Eve no Jikan
VOTOMS

and a slew more....

I think I had about 300GB coming in...

I never said the character designs were bad. Asuka is hot, Rei is cute, Misato is a MILF...and so on. My only beef with NGE is the story is...pure mind-screw. Thank God for magical girls and TTGL - AFAIK those are the only things that work to repair brain damage from NGE-level mind-screw.

And Haibane Renmei; has anyone else apart from myself watched that? I highly recommend it, very soft and soothing.

I want to see the next episode of Kill la Kill so badly right now.
Anyway, got bored, decided to go make a giant poster. Not finished yet ofcourse.
Guess who.
Spoiler:

Now I think about it. Got me some awesome modeling idea now. Need to find me some printable decal sticker paper for miniatures. Nude Beach Guardsmen. That'd be hilarious.

It's Nonon's hat.

You know, we have five episodes left, I think, and every single week I keep wondering what will happen next, because I can't tell what's gonna happen next most of the time.

I consider this a good thing. Although...

Spoiler:
With the Satsuki/Ryuko ship sunk (that's gonna be an awkward family reunion) that means there's more ammo for the Mako/Ryuko ship.... This could be bad...

Here you go:

Spoiler:
It's about a slightly older guy falling for a younger girl -I think he's in his twenties/thirties, she's still a teenager- and it turns out there brother and sister. They spend the show trying to deal with that little bombshell.

Despite the concept, its actually a very good show from what I've heard (I haven't watched it myself, so this is from a review I watched a ways back.)

Truly, this episode of KLK deserves a huge "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY GAAAAAAAAAAAK!!!"

Spoiler:
The revelations! The twists! The awesome stuff one after another, the fights, THE EVERYTHING! And Satsuki! How else to make this character even better but by being defeated, rebounding and kick ass once more.

And Nui! Not counting the flashback, it was the only time so far she had an expression other that her grin! What an episode!

When's those damned Satsuki's figures ready? Each and every episode I feel more and more like throwing money at the screen for them!

Edit: Ok, I think this resumes this episode, I hope it gets EVEN better. C'mon Trigger, amaze me, amaze me even more!
