I am building up Crimson Fists atm... hoping to get some Rynns World fights in with an Ork fellow :-)

I am hoping they do a supplement for the next C:SM based on Fisters (of both types).

I am still playing them on occasion! I've been distracted by Dark Angels, Valhallans, and Chaos lately. However, I am going to be painting more stuff for these guys soon. I've got some old-school Space Hulk Terminators (2nd ed) with Crimson Fists arms that I'll be painting up for my Space Hulk set. They won't quite match the rest of the army since they'll be on industrial bulkhead bases instead of urban rubble, but they'll be painted the same way. I'll take some pictures once I've actually started them.

Also I think I'll refrain from calling Fists, either Imperial or Crimson, "Fisters" for reasons that should be obvious

Great looking army. Anything on what to expect next? librarians maybe as I didn't spot one going through this thread (maybe I missed him).

I have Librarians in the army, but they're older paintjobs. Also, Librarians wear blue and, well, that makes it kind of hard to tell they're there in the full army shots I will paint up one for my Space Hulk set though - I've put together the models for a 2nd ed Space Hulk set (so not the truly awful old models, not the sexy new ones, but something inbetween) so I'll be painting those up soonishly.

Don't remember the 2nd ed models, do you have a pic?

I had 1st ed, those Terminators were quite... "special"

The 2nd ed ones were actually the same Terminator models you could buy for 40k at the time. Here's one of the five I've assembled so far:

He's mounted sideways on the base because I'll be transferring him to a bulkhead/spaceship base.

There's always another project! Right now I'm waiting on some 3rd party Obliterator models for my Iron Warriors, just got bases in for more Ravenwing, assembled some Deathwing Knights and primed a DA Razorback, I've got an Eldar army still in boxes, a second Goliath gang I'd like to work on, the aforementioned Crimson Fists Terminators and Genestealers for Space Hulk, and there's still some Valhallans that frankly could use paint in there too. I also have plans for a 2nd-ed style Ultramarines army. Maybe there's too much going on

I think the purple might be a trick of the photography - my models are all Regal Blue (now Kantor Blue) with a black wash. There was an older blue that was more purplish called Midnight Blue that was used for Crimson FIsts back in GW painting guides in the early-mid 90s, but I don't have enough of it to paint stuff with it. That and I don't want to change the scheme up suddenly.

As your absolute superior (Black Templars) in the Feast of Blades I can state that your models are /fantastic/, though I will, of course, always command the superior force on the battlefield

Hah! Why thank you. I've got a box of Sternguard for these boys along with the 2nd ed Space Hulk Terminators; lord knows if I'll ever get to em though.
