er... yes^^i know i am atm not full in swing with my school life... i bet that when i have to finish papers and such things i will be a bit slacking here... so i guess atm i am enjoying it here as much as possible^^

The beak looks great, Storag! There was something about the last one that I didn't like, but I could't put my finger on it. Much more beaky now

as for the legs... what look did you went for? i could picture the feather pattern on the legs too...

I was thinking along similar lines plus Micro Art Studio or the splinter company (name passes me ) did a set of heads that would work ……. I think Maxmini might have done some as well


Mixture of parts are springing to mind, I cant do it at the moment but on the to do list now

Hard to explain what is the problem with those legs... if I'd understood where it lies... I made 4 chunks; 2 hips, 2 shins. Making them even is a pain by itself 'cuz it's damn hard to sculpt something based on irregular cylinder =/ the other problem is to assemble them with a hip bone in a realistic way. The joints just look ridiculous... Can't explain better, sorry :( I'm going to mediate on this issue some more.

actually i can understand your problems with marine legs quite good... and you summed up the critical points quite neatly... it is in fact an armor in the lines of mega man and the likes... quite dramatically not fit to be worn by a hulking warrior... but a comic figure... so your basic problem here is make it look as if it could be worn and thus gives you a hell lot of troubles... have you considered making some kind of shaping gear? some sort of half tube that you gould use as a "baking" form? a pressmould that due to the iundent is maybe better and easier shapeable then going for the positive shape? did i make myself clear here?
