No clearance yet. I am going to wait until I see what my Production ability will be like when I get to Washington. If I have no room to set up, I'll clear out everything and just focus on sculpting for a while.

As for skulls, I sent you pretty much all of them I had at the time. I want to get around 100 of them to make one big mold for them. Then they will be available in the bucket-full! Muahahahaha!

I haven't made any new molds for a while, and I also need to get the power fist molded up along with many other things, including a new mold for the bottles. That one is wearing out. I hope I have room in Washington because I don't think I'll have time before I go.

But even if I don't have room while I stay with my friend, I should have room once the family moves over and we get an apartment.

It should only be a short wile that I am without a place to work. But thank you for the offer Galorn. If worse comes to worse and I have absolutely no place to cast....I could send you my molds so you don't have to re-create them all. We'll talk if that times comes.

Just to let you know, I placed another order with Shapeways, to get some 3D printed stuff! The order includes Steampunk Laser Rifles, Steampunk Heat Ray Guns, The Demon Hammer for the Female Heresy Investigator, the Hilt for the Energy Blade, and some other stuff....

I don't know what is going on with my blender program...I think the thumbdrive I have it stored on maybe corrupted, as I can't open a good many of the drawings I had been working on including the Steampunk Gatling Gun I was making. Which upsets me, as I have had to start over on that one several times now.

Anyway, just letting you know I wasn't dead or anything!

oh... that is a blow... i think we need to get wetware pc´s... then finally we can think for those stoooopid computers ...i hope you can sort it out... have you tried those files on another PC already? mebbe it is just your pc that´s making it complicated...

I have tried opening it on my laptop, same thing. I might just try to save all the stuff on the laptop. It would be more stable I think. But I need to get a mouse for the laptop, it's too hard to navigate with the finger pad.

I think the stuff I sent to Shapeways was good, I haven't heard yet if the images were ok to print or not. Might take a couple of days to hear back. It did last time.

Good idea with the wetware pcs! But then what happens when the PC crashes? I guess it wouldn't be any worse than people watching Jersey Shore....

And where the Heck are the Flying Cars we were promised!?!?!? We were all supposed to have flying cars by now! I know there are prototype flying cars in the works now, but they were supposed to replace ordinary cars by now!

OK, so good news and bad news.

I was able to recover a version of the Steampunk Laser Rifle I did in Blender that only needed minor touch-ups. I made a "sprue" of 5 that I will send off to get printed.

However, I was not able to recover a copy of the Heat Ray gun that was based off of the Laser Rifle, so I have to do that one from scratch. I was also almost done with a Flame Thrower version, but I can't find any version of that. Makes me sad.

Also, saving the 3D drawings to the computer instead of the thumbdrive seems to have worked. For now.

Oh, and yes. That is a Rivet Sprue!

Thanks Skalk! I say, a rivet is a rivet is a rivet. And it was Dave's idea I think. He may have gotten the idea from Zinge though. ?

Lt. Soundwave, I would very much appreciate you trying! I had many hours into that heat ray gun.

I am not sure if I can get over there this Sunday, but maybe. I'll let you know! Thanks.

He he he, Lt. Soundwave did offer to help, but I was impatient and started over on the Melta *cough* I mean Heat Ray guns, and I like the new version even better!

In other news, we had a great teams game last night! Tau and Orks teamed up to fight Necrons and my Chaos Space Marines! An unlikely paring if I have ever seen them, but having the 'Cons on my side allowed me to forgo the "shooty" stuff that I had planned on using and focusing on the Close Combat. Much blood was shed and many skulls were taken to please the Blood God, and all of my troops except my Daemon Prince and one full squad of Berzerkers who did not see combat at all as they were camped on objectives were completely wiped out. It was close, and it all came down to victory points. How we ended up with one more VP then them is still a mystery to me. But it was a great game, and it was a blast!

Thanks Soundwave, I hope we can get together at MisCon next year! Or maybe just when Icome back to visit the Mother-in-law!

I actually do want to get one whole box of DV for myself, and convert all of those DA to the awesomeness of Chaos ! Muahahahaha!!!

And Lt. Soundwave, I know what you mean, I might have a few of my troops painted by then too! I doubt it, but it could happen.

Sorry for lack of progress updates, life has bogged me down once again. I have been getting a bit done with Blender, as I am sometimes less interrupted at work than I am at home.

I have been getting some good work done on the Gatling Gun, but I am not done yet, so expect to see that later in the week.

I just got an email from Shapeways that my second order, the one with the Energy Blade, and the Laser Rifles are being sent to the printer, so I guess that means the small bits aren't too small to print this time. I probably won't get them before I move, so they will have to be forwarded on, or wait until I come back for a weekend. But at least they are getting done.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by, more updates this week I hope!

I won't know what to do with the Chaos guys, how hard would they be to convert into norm SM's?

Converting those CSM into loyalist SMs would be a royal PITA there are chaotic icons all over, as well as some mutations. I think however that the cultists would convert to semi feral IG fairly easily.

It WILL be done! We are going to see MANY conversions with those cultists. I don't care about the Marines, like the AoBR marines, I'll never use them.

I'm sure they will be selling things separately on ebay soon after they are released, but I want the whole set. Not like I haven't been spending too much money there lately as is....

I broke down and bought 3 bikes for my Nurgle bikers. The conversion I had been working on looks good, I'll get some pics of it in it's current state soon, but it is WAY too big. So I am going to use it for my Biker Lord/Sorcerer! I think it will do just fine for that.

I also bought some interesting models to make some plague bearers out of, along with something to make a Nurgle Daemon Prince out of. I am not going to say what those somethings are until I have them on my desk.

And the first batch of 3D printed stuff shipped today, it should be here by next Thursday! Yay!

I have been getting some sculpting done, pics of progress next week sometime.

Stay thirsty my friends!
