Yeah, I am really enjoying the gaming side of the hobby. My army has grown to an almost ridiculous size. A buddy of mine gave me most of a Land Raider the other day. He couldn't find the Las Cannon Sponsons, and only had the Assault Cannons for the front. So I converted the assault cannons to Heavy Bolters, and made the sponsons and las cannons. Not done yet, but you can tell what they are, and I would feel good about playing with it.

Not sure if I am going to stay "in business", per se. I don't have the resources for production, but I will produce a few things...like the rifles.

But when I am done with the current list of commissions, I am done. Too many other things going on.

Any way, I will post progress pics soon. (within the month I hope.)

Not so grave. I'll still make some things for people. But I had to close my actual business licence when I moved out state. So things I do from here on out will fall under "Hobby", not "Business".

It's much easier to keep track of financial stuff this way...As in, I don't have to keep track of it!

I am not done with the My Little Commissar, but she has had some work done, and I would like you to see where she is going.






Still working on the hind-quarters, and of course I need to smooth her out a bit. Then I will give her a Hat/Hair/Ears head-piece. I will keep it removable, as I want to also make a helmet option.

Also, the Female Heresy Investigator is finished!!!!!
She has been done for some time, i just was nervous to make the mold for her, as a large percentage of my recent molds have not turned out well. But it's done, the models are together, I am adding final touches, and she'll be out the door soon! YAY!!!








I have many picture of my army to post, but that will be saved for later. Maybe this weekend, or later tonight if I get time.

It is sooooo good to be back and posting again.

I don't understand the My Little Pony thing, but it looks great, the Heresy Investigator is fantastic though! Yo've really improved the hammer since I last saw it!

I think the pony looks like a four legged alien for now... The investigator though... well... is she seeing anyone yet? If not... is she free saturday night?

Trust me. It's no longer "That Show" anymore. This current version is essentially old-school Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, DnD and Nicktoons rolled into one, with a heaping helping of Feel Good and Positive Life Lessons slathered all over it.

I wish I couldn't confirm this....but my 4 year old loves "that show". And I have to read books about it to her at night.

Anyway, as for the mini, it's a commission, and I am just trying to capture the description that was given to me. And trying to do the best job on it I can. After watching the show with my daughter, and being around countless toys....I really hate them. Maybe that is why I am taking so long on it. Who knows.

But I do like the way it's turning out.

Also, my third and final (because I ran out of the prints) attempt at making a mold for the Laser Rifles and the Gatling Gun came out GREAT! So I will be able to get some of those made soon.

I guess I don't understand why "men" in the classic sense are into it? Perhaps it's a generational thing or trend of which I'm not privy to?

Eh. It's a Thing. There's a thread about it in the Off Topic section- the first quarter or so has a lot of 'This is stupid" "No it's not, it's awesome, and this is why" back and forth in it.

Also, I wanted to show off the Weapons as they came out of the mold.

Only one area where a bubble showed up, and I think that will be taken care of by adding another groove to the mold to allow the air to escape.

Those guns are looking very nice. That Gatling is especially sexy.

My daughters have just found my little pony....my son and I stare back at each other and without exchanging words both get up and leave the room to play with Legos. Someone misread my name here a few weeks ago and thought I was into ponies. Didn't go over too well.

Thank you. Yes, there are definate battle lines drawn on the issue of ponies. But then again...we play with miniature army men....who are we to judge?

I keep looking at those heads and thinking what can I use them for they look really quite cool on those scout bodies

OK, so here are some of the Army Projects I've been working on. Still nothing much painted, no surprise there. I don't like painting.

To start off, I want to say that I had switched from having an all Khorne World Eaters army, to mixing in some Nurgle stuff.

But now I am scrapping that idea. I am just calling it a Black Legion army. They have everything, but still focus mainly on Berzerker and Plague Marines.

I had worked on some Chaos Daemon stuff, even got so far as to have a squad of Bloodletters put together and had a fluffy unit of 7 Plaguebears sculpted/converted, and then the new Codex came out and ruined my units. Now I need 10 models minimum for a squad. Thanks a lot GW!

Anyway, here are the Plagebearers I did:
I started with "Savage Orcs" bodies:


Then sculpted them into Plaguebearers:




Epidemius and the Squad Leader:

And now to the Chaos Space Marine stuff.

Also, I go the Chaos Lord from the new-ish boxed set:


Pretty standard. I like the way he looks, so I left him mostly as-is....except for magnets! If needed, he can get wings and the Burning Brand of Skalathrax!!!


Also, I got the Heldrake. Minimal modifications here too. I did magnetize the head so I could take the assault cannon if needed, but why would I do that? I don't know. The only thing I can see that the Heldrake needs is more weapons, and a companion!


A buddy gave me most of a loyalist land raider too. I say most because he could only find the assault cannons for the front which Chaos can't take and he couldn't find the side sponsons at all...so I made them! And I converted the assault cannons into heavy bolters, and then chaos'd it up a bit: (the front grenade launches are going to be covered up with my Skull plates, I'll get those on soon.)



still more to do, but you get the idea.

And last but not least, I converted the plastic Chaos Terminator Lord into Abaddon the Despoiler. I never like the Abaddon model, especially the rediculous "Top Knot", so I gave him a helmet. Also, he's magnetized so I can swap out arms and make him into Typhus if I need to! Muahahahahaha!


I am currently painting Abaddon (gasp!) I know right? So maybe we'll see how that turns out before too long. Christmas maybe?

Well, that's it. Pretty much everything I've been working on since I fell off the face of the Earth last Summer. Most everything still needs work, one of the reasons I don't like to paint, most everything can still use some improvement.

Dam where to start there is so much for just one update, least we can see why yo disappeared of the face of the earth LOL

I have to say that I do have my favourites like the plaguebearers they have a great look and tie together nicely, also a great use for the feral Ork models .

Huron Blackheart is another characterful model love the power fist and the stance, are the shoulder pads conversions ?

Lucuis the Eternal has some great sculpted armour, the tormented facial images are great like trapped soles I might try something like that myself one day.

What sculpting compound you using on these by the way ?

I also like the Noise Marines the blast cannon conversion looks pretty cool, any chance of getting a side angles picture of it.

All the rest are great as well but these were my favourites keep it coming mate.
