Fair point though, I should have changed the rock from the one in Alpha Strike and the Suppression team sets... getting Lazy.

I will do so as and when I remould them - thinking of doing a few more poses anyway to get a 5 man squad.

@Lansiril - Have a look through all the separate torsos and legs, and in the "Custom Exo Lord" section you can purchase cheaper kits containing the legs, torsos, head and option shoulder pads and power plant.

@Deadairis - The magnets are back in stock now. Other than that everything is manufactured in house so stock shortages are very rare!

@Identifyzero - Thanks, I know thats what you meant! But still lazy of me to use the same rock, even if using the same legs is an acceptable short cut!

I know you're joking - but please do this, just for the hilarity of it.
You can do it like your weapon accessories - packs of 10, or as an optional extra for infrantry models.
It'd also be relatively useful for terrain and stuff to stand on

Finally I have found reroll counters for my dwarf bloodbowl team. Now I'll just have to paint gold veins, silver deposits, and Jess onto these.

Hey Joel, to start off I like the rock idea and I'm glad you took it in stride. Second of all thought of a few more quick bit ideas for objective markers or scenery.


The first would be a ammo box that could have an open top and customers could put whatever they wanted into them, or you could make a couple inserts for the ammo box like a ammo dump insert or a weapons cache insert.

The second idea is simple, a weapons rack that could fit inside a Rhino or a Stormraven, you can have a couple options there also, have the guns display horizontally or vertically.

Both ideas allow the customers to choose what they want and have a couple options, I don't know/think there is anything else on the market like these aside from FW makes a weapons box for Elysians.

A Marksman/Spotter team with lethal M88 Negotiator and enhanced optical range finding equipment. The figures also have lighter armour than the regular Black Ops figures, and Camouflage Cloaks.

I had a lot of fun making these figures, as designing them as single piece casts gave me total control over the equipment and posing - the Marksman is sighting directly down the rifle for example.

I hope you like them! Command Squad coming soon.

Will the feet of the master sniper team be fixed? The feet/ancle/lower leg seem to be strangely connected at the moment.

@Newabortion - Thanks for the suggestions! I cant prioritise small stuff like weapon racks im afraid, as while they are undoubtedly cool, its a pretty niche item, I need to focus on stuff which appeals to a wider segment of the marker!

@Malika2 - I know what you mean, thats just how the armour is designed on all the black ops. Its hard to get thick plate armour which looks mobile/flexible AND which is castable with few undercuts, I do my best! Its intended that the undersides of the shin armour be painted black, as an area of shadow.

We've been a bit quiet over the weekend, but I have some brand new master parts on my desk to share with you guys! Not one or two new products, TEN new components of various kinds!

This image shows the WIP Flame Cannon, Heavy Fusion Cannon with backpack power supply (cables still to add). And in the foreground from left to right - Black Widow Carbine in resin, A selection of medical devices for my command squad medic. A compact satallite Comms array, and a plain gladius with sheath option.

All these smaller parts are for my Black Ops Command squad, but will also be available separately!

Hm. Not sure how I feel about the Fusion Cannon. I think I'd need to see some more angles. The rest of that however, that all looks great. Really loving the heavy flamer. The comms array is pretty neat. Will you be planning more little scenery details like that in the future?

Cool stuff as ever. Really like the swords, comms rely and H Flamer.

Any chance we'll see more melee weapons? Axes,maces,spears etc?

Mauls, Axes, Maces and Sci-fi Bow-staffs would be my request. There seems to be a lack of these.

@Manus the little parts will be on a "command upgrade sprue" of some kind.

@Barzam - Im also a little unsure about the Fusion Cannon, I think it looks abit too "front heavy" Redesigning and reprinting it wont take all that long so Ill probably release it in 2 weeks or so instead of rushing it out now.
In the meanwhile you will all have to make do with Mega Flames!

I might be making a few more "cool scenic" elements, but only as part of larger kits as and when I need something.

@evildrcheese and mwnciboo - No plans for any more melee weapons at the moment Im afraid.

Yeah, the fusion cannon just doesn't give me a tickle in my loins like the mega flamer. 'Front heavy' is a good diagnosis.

I think the same about the flamer. It just looks to rear heavy with that massive fuel canister hanging of the back. If it were fowards a little bit then it would look more balanced.

However, removing and repositioning the canister looks like a fairly simple job.

Really looking forward to buying the command upgrade - that medical thingy is some of the coolest stuff for a long time.

And (I know you must be getting tired of this Q) would you have any idea when you have robed legs regiment size ready? You know I'm interested in both normal and mechanical - cannot remember if you had both planned though.

@Sicksix - Im going to be redesigning and reprinting the Fusion Cannon with a few refinements, and also release a Laser Cannon type weapon as well.

@Victor - Happy to recommend Zinge as I can personally vouch for the product quality! We've had adjacent stalls at Salute the past couple of years!

@Snrub - Its designed so the center of gravity of the weapon hangs roughly under the arm attachment point, It would be a major Pain to remove and reposition it, but you could trim the back end down a bit reasonably easy.

@Manus - Thanks! Not as tired as you must be of the answer "yeah pretty soon I think.."

I cant give a date but the Regiments scale legs are being digitally designed at the moment, as soon as Ive got those, Ill be having the greatcoat version sculpted over the top.

Im not really sure if its worth sculpting a set of fully robed mechanical legs.. as the only major difference will be the mechanical feet sticking out the bottom instead of combat boots.

I would lean toward sculpting the mechanical robed legs with more a front/back loin cloth, split at the sides to show the mechanical legs off more, I dont really see the mechanical guys wearing traditional "great coats" as such.

Any thoughts?

Actually my thought exactly. I think I have gotten it confused somehow, initially I though you'd just do robed normal legs, but then I got the impression you were mainly going for the mechanical version. Personally I'd all in for the normal legs version.

Really glad to hear they are in design - that normally means within reach
