Really, really nice.

Renders are chunkier than the art, but I fully expected that.

Those are some lovely weapons concepts. I am stoked for this Kickstarter. I hope I have enough funds left after finding my car is buggered.

These are just great!

I was initially interested in them as count-as Sisters, but they're sweet enough that I just want them purely on their own merits.

Great work, so far!

Same here. They'll look great next to female arcadians as realistic female soldiers.

The helmets look a bit off to me. Squished or something. Other than that, they look quite amazing.

What will the pricing look like?

Good question Bob, wondering how the price will compare to the regiments line.

Anvil my wallet stands ready, are you planning on any vehicles? Like some transports, flame tanks or even some sort of walker type thing...

@Anvils Hammer: suggestion/request for the weapons; include cast magnet-holes in the stock and weapon? The attachment point looks like it has enough surface area…

Morning all,

And thanks for the great feedback on the weapons!

I can confirm that the weapons from the Daughters range will be added to the main regiments range at some point, but it probably wont be until after we completely fulfil the KS rewards.

@Aesthete - Our models are certainly suitable for use as alternatives for the SoB range, if people want, but we have tried very hard throughout the design process to make something more original and more applicable to a wider range of settings, from medieval fantasy, through steampunk and alt history. Many of the characters will also be great for RPGs, dungeon crawlers etc.

@BobtheInquisitor - Retail Pricing when they go to retail (2019 some time) will be higher than current regiments models, but with KS discount they will be roughly in line. We are aiming for around £3 per model for regular infantry. Characters £8-20 depending on complexity/size.

Our stuff is never going to be as cheap as cheap PVC or other plastics used for most Kickstarters, but I think the extra quality is well worth it.

The helmets probably look a bit off because they are rather large compared to the rest of the model. When they are printed out at 31mm to eye, they look a lot more normal.

@Ingtaer - We are planning a small Mech walker which featured in some of the concept art.

Larger walkers, APC's tanks etc we would LOVE to do but we can only start to consider those if funding exceeds £100k, which would be cool but is far from certain. Our initial funding goal is a more modest £15,000 for the basic squad and some characters.

@Mr_Rose - Sadly its not possible. The guns are only 2mm thick, and two 1mm magnets would result in holes after a few runs of the mould even if we could squeeze them in!

Thanks all,

Well. thats it, you got me. These will make fine Veterans for my knightworld IG and the renders make them seem passable as male or female with a enclosed helmet. I'm more than willing to throw down to get my hands on them from the kickstarter.

Question, would there be a possibility of kneeling legs and arms suitable for heavy weapon teams (maybe as a stretch goal) , or are you planning standing heavy weapon poses if any heavy weapon related items at all?

Oh. these are lovely.

Really like the olde-worlde bolters.

If I had to be picky the models are way too short in the hips (the distance between the hip bones and the crotch is very shallow..), but otherwise beautiful.

Just stumbled on this looming KS, and while the push and excitement for more sci-fi Sisters checks out, I'm actually more interested in the fantastical melee gals:
Like this 'un, with some heavier armored friends. Will probably come down to number of sculpts for me? To determine if I can use them to power yet another KOW army

I think that's just an artifact of heroic scaling. The entire mini looks like the V Hold is off.

I'm thinking a unit or two of the troops will make a nice Sisters of Silence attachment for my Custodes.

I'm really looking forward to this Kickstarter. Has a start time been decided on, yet?

Hi Everyone,

Just over 24 hours to go now,

@Barzam and Erren - we are aiming for a 7-8pm ish start, UK time, but that is an estimate, we still have a lot to do!

@Ir0njeck - Yes, I am planning to do a kneeling legs and heavy weapons arms upgrade which will make the kits fully compatible with all the existing regiments heavy weapon options.

We are also planning standing heavy weapons with a medieval theme!

@MouseMuffins - Thanks for your feedback. We will look at it again, I think its partly the issue with them being heroic scaling, if we make the crotch lower it starts looking odd.

@Boss Salvage - Sci-fi is the market the range is aimed at more, but a lot of the parts are useable in fantasy - we were careful to ensure they look good without big pads or backpacks for example.

I am hoping we will unlock quite a few different melee weapons suitable for fantasy use.

Thanks

We've had quite a few people express interest so yes, we will make here available as a separate add-on for people who want just her, or want multiple copies in one pledge.

I mean, I imagine I'm going to tip over the £40 mark quite easily, but it doesn't hurt to know.

Barzam has been feeding me a steady supply of pictures as they're released, trying to get me interested.

I have seen some concept art that's gotten me excited about this campaign, and after getting to see most of his figures he's ordered from Anvil, I know the quality will be quite high.

I'm hoping for some ladies that are big enough to hang with my Custodes. That'll most certainly get me to pledge. Raging Hereos tried, but their not- Terminators didn't really impress me much.

Looking forward to seeing what's available tomorrow. Good luck!

These ladies here shouldn't be as big/tall as Custodes though, should they?

I mean, I hope they aren't.

Same. I want something that's about the size of Vic's Imperial Guard ladies, if they were in power armour. The minute we hit Raging Heroes/Eisenkern proportions, I'm out.

Why would they be? They're meant to be SOB and other human characters, both enhanced and non as we've seen from the myriad concept pieces, equivalents, not female Custodes.

If they end up as big a Custodes I will let someone curb stomp me. I feel confident saying that as it just isn't going to be the case.

My comment was in response to highlord tamburlaine's comment.

Perhaps you should ask him why he thinks they'll be that big?

Don't get me wrong- the regular rank and file shouldn't be anywhere near Custodes size. That'd be crazy!

A big bulky hero model though? C'mon, where's your sense of fun?
