They ran out of stock so increased the price rather than close the listing. Almost guaranteed. If you look at the sales history, he sold one for $79.95 on that same listing.

To be fair though, it seems like it's one of those things people do to get around relisting items. They jack the price up to a point that no one will buy it while they're out of stock, and then when they get stock back in, they lower the price.

Well, like Pretre said, it's most certainly priced like that because they don't want people to buy it.

His auctions look rather suspicious, almost like he ripped off an LGS and is trying to fence the items.

Not accusing him directly of it, but the volume and nature of his auctions are sketchy.

He probably is a LGS. He has only good feedback and a history on eBay.

You are bidding on a fully painted High Elf army. I have spent many hours painting and playing with this army but I have a child on the way and the wife wants to use my display case in the baby's room so I have to part with them. This is not a slop job paint job. I take time and make crisp lines. These are the older style high Elves with all pieces being bought 2000 or earlier. If you are looking for a well painted, ready to play army then this is for you.

It doesn't look sloppy - it just doesn't look that grand. A wash would help overall, but it's not puke worthy.

I'm not arguing that - just saying that his statement isn't incorrect He totally did color within the lines, but the paintjob doesn't increase the value of the models.

I know of a little gamestore that has a ton of metal models that are now Finecast...PM me and I'm willing to pick up the model you want, plus shipping, plus minor inconvenience for my time (maybe $5 above retail, less if you want a bunch). Of course, this offer totally depends on their stock. Likely it'll be cheaper than eBay, and you'll have it NIB.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

You should zoom in on the face and hand of the griffin rider.
I am thinking he has a broader definition of "lines" than I do. LOL

Also, it's very kind of him not to charge extra for the dust.
