They're almost definitely recasts, and they're massively overcharging for them.

Not that I have any idea what Chinese recasts typically cost.

Mhmm, they're selling for around 60-75% retail... dammit, I'm going to be getting 30 resin Space Wolves it looks like...

Following up on this, I got the models today and they were all plastic. I'm a happy ebayer.

I hope I'm happy for you, but they can use a very similar looking resin to plastic. File a bit slightly and see how it smells, if you get a solvent type smell, like a permanent marker, its resin and a recast. Hopefully not though.

Looks about right... shoddily put together, but about right.

Look closer, Its clearly a bad scratchbuild, styrene pipe barrel with green stuff detailing sticking out of the stock hull mount. The forgeworld kit replaces the top and front of the LMBT with resin parts, this is just 2/3 of a regular russ kit

Or you can just try to use plastic cement to glue them and see if it works.

Yeah, I got one of the Necron walkers in a big trade and started freaking out when the legs kept breaking while I was trying to pack it up. Look inside the breaks (primed of course)... That's not plastic. Sunova.

Hmm I've actually taken a closer look at the models and they're a lighter colour than the plastic GW normally uses, and they're definitely on different sprues... so ya, probably a recast although they were plastic and for the most part good quality (a few of the legs were slightly misaligned). However, it looks like someone reported them because all of their "GW products" have been taken down and now they just sell cheap baby toys...

Has anyone messaged him to see why he thinks they're worth that much? Everything is 200-300% markup...

Now, I know some people will pay a little more than the current finecast models price to get them in metal. I would, only a little and the unit would have to be worth it in game for me to do so. But this is just stupid, check out his other stuff. I want whats hes smoking.

Not quite in the same league as what others are posting but something is seriously crazy with bits sellers these days.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/WARHAMMER-40K-BIN-BITS-NECRON-WARRIORS-12x-CANOPTEK-SCARABS-/350756789707?pt=Games_US&hash=item51aabbddcb

So, $21 for one box's worth of Scarabs. No bases, just the Scarabs. The unopened box of Warriors goes for $36 straight from GW or $29 from TheWarStore.

I'm beginning to think Horde O' Bits is secretly being run by GW Memphis.

Some people just don't want those boring Necron Warriors. They probably have too many of them and don't want them as extra bits

I guess for very very old, single pose GOBLIN models it may be. I sure wouldn't pay that much for them.

Wow, bolters, a couple of chest plates, shoulder pads and helmets. I'm pretty sure anyone who has ever even touched a marine has piles of those exact parts hidden in the corner of their bitz box.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Items are sold without boxes for 2 reasons; either they were part of a larger set and the seller is breaking down the set for profit or the seller has realized that the sprues can be packed into a smaller shipping box if you don't include the box for the unit... especially in a large set like this.

My money's on the latter.
