Discount games Store has been around for a while. I've ordered a bunch from him and have always got 100% GW product. The without box comes from the days when you could sell the sprue as a "used" model to get around some of GW's online restrictions.

They're legit but in the past their "discounts" have usually run around 15% and that's less than most online retailers so I've stopped looking at their auctions.
The ship without the box to save money. More sprues into smaller space and all that.

It does indeed seem to be a lot, but at the same time it is a pretty high quality paintjob.

Yes, I could tell you that if you wanted a clean paintjob like that from most commission painters, it'd easily be double the cost of the model.
To put it in perspective, Dakka's own Ifalna runs her own miniature painting service. For a tank or a mounted dragon (or mini of that size), she charges 110 euros for her highest non-showpiece quality paintjob (which doubles the price of the commission to 220 euros).

This is all just a case of the seller using a high amount on the action as he is out of stock on the item and doesn't want to pay a relisting fee. see it all the time. still funny at first glance though.
EDIT: I was right. click on the 660 sold and you see the prices everyone paid.

As a seller I have sold the cards from action figures by themselves ($5 to $70 each), empty boxes from various items like Star Wars, GI Joe, etc..., I sold several auctions of 50 upc code bundles from halo toys (mfg sometimes had mail in X# of upcs to get free item), sold a bundle of receipts (all cash transactions) from several stores for $95 (transactions ttld $1,695.27), sold xbox game cases by themselves, sold 77 GW model directions to a guy in Russia for $113.77, sold 50 plastic bubbles from hot wheels cards for $30, and the last strangest item I sold was a discarded Barnes & Noble coffee cup & lid that Brittney Spears had (I had video of her at Calabasas B&N & of her drinking it and then discarding it & me grabbing it, on the auction) $388 (with lipstick on it!)....

Ordered Canis Wolfborn from Discount Games Store way back in the middle of June, were now well into October. Their excuse to why it is so late is "Some times it can be a very long wait to get specific models in."
I think this excuse is bs, if the discount was more than $9 I would be more patient but I'm starting to think this thing is never going to come in.
TL: DR dont buy from Discount Games Store, you'll get screwed/scammed.

Not only that, but it looks like it's made entirely using a single box of the new deathwing terminators, plus the wings from a ravenwing bike.
I don't know about US prices accuractely, but I think you could probably buy a box of the terminators plus odds n ends for less than the conversion, then replicate it yourself quite easily
