... is that axe head made out of foam rubber? It's HUGE. Even a Daemon Prince might have a tough time hauling that boat anchor around. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome, but wow... you're kind of pushing the SoD for Heroic Scale there.

i like that bugger... tho... one thing puzzles me... he is blind... and he is a leader... er...??? whut?... and nice collection of cutoff´s and bitz! specially the double axeblades... very nice idea... or is he not blind at all and you will make this bandage around his eyes like some sort of mask? that´d be brilliant^^

@Skalk: No foam rubber here nope... I figure he's a hero... I've seen simple 20th century movie heros carry bigger stuff around, so I figured a powered ax would be fully possible. Besides... if it can be powered to kill even better, it can probaby also be powered to weigh less or something... Note to self, add powerpack.

@ Vik: he is a Hero, not a Leader by the way. I look at him as someone who inspires other survivors to bring the fight to the undead. I kind of took the idea of Zatoichi or Ruger Hauer's Blind fury. A not that big, not that tough blind guy wielding a twin battle-ax of lightning doom... I'd follow him... from a distance

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol... i knew it would be a cool idea... actually seeing that head i couldkick myself in the rear for not ordering the last time such a head for my own needs when i had the chance... actually i think i will expand on more heros after i finish my captain whatsnot hero...!

Heya guys... its me again. Not with the hero, he's still being worked on. Noooo, with sofas and chairs and table. Vik's comment last time made me think... I do indeed need a RED sofa. So I made myself one. Also a chair to go with the first sofa, a table for them both, and some flooring to keep it all modular. And to prove it fits in my buildings, some pics of that too.










And as icing on the cake another hero/heavy for my necropocalypse. For now I dub him Autocannon Bob. 'Lazy' autocannon Bob

Great pose on the autocannon guy. Maybe it looks like his right foot ought to be on something, like a can, to make his toes curl up like that. Will you drill out the gun barrel? That's a good habit to get in to and really looks a lot better.

lol... i was rather curious as to why MY sofa has succesfully travelled all the way to the netherlands... but now i understand^^ lol...

the red...correction... faded red looks very good! the shots inside the house reminds me of old times... when i used to play jagged alliance 2... those were the days! when you went into houses you had these walled apart looks of rooms too... so thanks for that lil piece of memories! how do you make this furniture by the way? the table looks as if it is from a set... i detected by the way some mold lines on the tables feet...(sorry dude^^) but if you´ve sculpted all the sofas and chairs from putty... respect! that must´ve been quite a big amount to make all this! but it sure was worth it!

as for the gunner... lovley arangement of bits! a truly maus conversion to the detail! specially i love the "dangling" feet look... just one minor nitpick here too...the bum of said gunner is hoovering a bit in the air... suggestion: raise the amo box a bit and you´re set! oh...and for the sake of all of us... drill the barrel out!

Vik, the sofas are DAS clay... dries in the air, costs and weighs little... perfect for stuff like sofas.

That mold line... hrm... The table is indeed from one set or other of some kind of doll house play set... i cut most of the legs off to make it the correct height.

The autocannon gunner is at the moment still separate from the gun. With greenstuff he'll eventually be on a cushion he put atop the ammo box

@ Mordain: Yep, a bare necessity. A cushion is the bare minimum Lazy Bob needs. Some other demands he made were his own Thermos and coffeecup, and a bong...
I can make him a cushion, I can make him a bong, no problem... but I think he's pushing it with the coffee...

It's hard to give c&c to someone who is way better atconverting then me. But from now on, I'll follow your blog (pics specifically) more closely.

i already had my lil speach about the sausagy "A" on the hero thread... the mask is pure awesome sauce.... wish i could sculpt like that!...

and a cushion for lazy... LOL... yeah... but pleae make him a thermos... that would be cool... with the cap as a cup...(i am not that fond of bongs to be fair...)...

@ Ruglud: At the moment i'm not even sure i'm sticking to this hand... I'm not convinced on the pose yet... I'm exploring the possibilty of giving him a garbage-can-lid shield... or perhaps even a pistol...

The mask is just awesome incarnate. It came out fantastically. And it looks like Vic has already comented on the A

The coffee table and other sofa REALLY puts it into perspective and it looks great!

but i am.... i love that pose... so many interpretations possible for that pose... with an axe like this... a so big one at that too... an open and anarmed hand... i think that is way better this way.... what you could do know...COULD... is to make a bit of GS flame/blast/ spellworks from that hand then... if done with some OSL this could top the current amount of awesomesauce ... but only just

Complete Badassery going on here Maus! The furniture is excellent, and the Hero is fantastic!

The open hand i like too... It will stay. But i'm not at all sure on the zombie hand i'm using now. It looks... i don't know... just off...

I'm looking through my bits for hands now, but so far haven't found any that says 'come get me if you dare' as much as the zombie hand does.

@ Vik: I contemplated some fire or smoke from his hand but decided against it. My hero is actually just a nutcase in a superhero costume carrying a humongous poweraxe and hunting zombies... Hero perhaps, but not a mage, wyrd or psyker.

@ Skalk: I tried the buttons, but they just looked too big. I think the rest of the furniture ties it down a bit too. Now to make a dozen or so more, some fridges, freezers, sinks, toilets.... pff... too much...

@ Dave: Thanx, coming from you thats a big compliment. I'v started copying your tags by the way. Did you design a tag for yourself too? Cuz if so i'd like to steal that for on my shanty walls too

Purple and green are very much super villain colours (Lex Luthor, Green Goblin, Riddler, Joker, loads more) - are you sure he is a hero?
