Galorn, are those warma/Hordes bases you are making the same 30mm rounded edge bases that Malifaux uses? If so, I've got some steampunk basing ideas in that size.

I know Right?

I'm going to box up the "ratiation" cola machine and do some light repairs to the "evening rootbeer" machine.

Mold for them should be poured tonight.

You nver know til you are placed in the (unfortunate) position to do so. as the old saw goes "some men are great, and some... have greatness thrust upon them." so to speak.

Most of the dust has seemed to be settling out... enough that I can get back to tiptoing into operation as a biz anyway... I'll be pouring molds tomorrow morning...

I've started to add merch to my Webstore (link added to my sig) whilst I wait for molds to cure...

Its still kinda fugly as far as a store goes but the most important thing is... It works (as far as I can tell anyway)

got a little more done. Ive got an "ok" mold for the two machines. I need to repair the master "atomic cola" machine before I make a new mold. the cuts to ease extraction of the casts from the molds i made work... ok but I've figgured out a better placement for them. so need to make new (better) molds...

Yeah, I was going to mention that slight irregular like, but I figured it can be sanded off.

the "evening rootbeer " yes. Atomic cola not so much.

I'll be mailing another drop box (of the mostly ok molds to you Dave along with molds for the back bits) tuesday.

and then once I have a truely good mold I'll send that along as well.
(in a future drop, not tues, well probably not... maybe... If I can get a clean cut that works well. otherwise its 2part mold adventure time.)

Well my shipment from hobbylinc is at a status of "order delayed" not sure what the deal is with that but the outpost bases ive got done enough ill get into molds after i get the vending machines done.

Have you tried the repeated criss-cross cutting method? cut a zig-zag pattern, peeling a little at a time between cuts?
