Thanks Guys!.

I've posted the finalized 3D models for the sub units of what will be my own take on Zone mortalis to shapeways. they are intended as blank canvas in a way to build up from.

Looks great so far! And by "3D print" do you mean you used a rapid-prototyper or 3D printing machine?

Had it printed on a makerbot 3d printer. (Extruded filiment type)

Same tech basis as the rapid prototyper.

the total thickness for wall/door modules will be 3/4 in. on a 2" by 2" tile.

for the metric folks thats apx 19mm thick, on a tile that is roughly 51mm by 51mm (actually 50.8mm x 50.8mm)

I've gotten all the prototypes printed up for the basic "fw" esque style tiled layouts. I'll be getting Pictures up tonight, also I'll be starting the build for a centerpiece for a Warmahordes table at templecon.

Pics of some NEW THINGS!

I've just got the 3d Printed prototypes for the base modules of my ZM equivalent project in. they are yet to be detailed, but they are awesome. Yes the two tile wide door is movable, and removable.

Also I've made some building brick molds to create a masonry tower for a project at templecon.

On to the Pics

Base components.
1 blank tile to be used as a blank to have different textures in the middle.
1 Tile to be used under doorways.
1 1 tile wide door (not movable)
1 2 tile wide door (movable and removable... super awesome)
1 base wall unit
1 base hub unit.
1 Buttress unit that slots into the wall tile.

closeup of how the wall and hub will interlock

untrimmed molds for building blocks for the templecon project

the rest of a base line in progress to finish up a line started as a comissioned work.

All looking very nice. Looking forward to the added details.

It's also nice to see that your workspace looks as messy as mine did while I was moulding and casting. Those bits of silicone get everywhere...

You probably wrote this somewhere but what size are your ZM floor tiles, could you fit 40 or 60mm base on them?

2" by 2", or 50.8mm x 50.8mm

a 40mm will fit with room to spare, a 60mm would not, at least not on a single tile. most corridors in a standard ZM set up are two tiles wide though.

On to PICS!

I've started to add the Vines in to wall segment areas that are "complete" enough to do so. The walls will be getting fastened down but are currently movable to allow for easier painting.
