I got mine yesterday. It all looked great so far.

I found one miscast part (one of the guns for the addons). Checking the rest of the stuff out now.

it was not a pleasant suprise? what made it unpleasant?

I know I got a wrong gang in mine, but Gamesalute is sending me the replacement gang and a label to mail the incorrect one back..

I have to think he meant "was" instead of "wasn't", since everything he said after that was positive (except about the delay).

Otherwise I don't understand it either

Thanks for that.
I'll be miserable, but I'll hold out for the 11th, then.

Upon further inspection, I am just an idiot. No miscasts. I should have looked closer to the little metal sprue. Can't wait to get the models primed and painted! It could be the first game I actually ever finishing painting!

I built all my guys today, and the casts were good. A little bit of flash, some vents, the normal stuff. I really like the extra bits that came with the Hired Gun guys!

Buildings were built earlier this week, and OMG I love them... they really are perfect for this game!

My order was actually short several buildings and a rule book. I contacted GamSalute and a second package was sent the same day, scheduled for delivery today! Massive kudos to GameSalute for responsiveness!

Here's some screenshots for the final digital sculpts for Wilde's Rangers

It's in the Dakka gallery, so you can click the image if you want to zoom in and stuff.

I'll just post the final sculpts here since that's more newsworthy, but if you want to see more I'm posting WIP shots from the sculptors as I get them in the game forum here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/495549.page

So tempted to add more, but oh so broke.

Well the pledge manager links have gone out,

but it seems they havn't put much thought into those living outside the USA

The address form seems to require a US State entry even if you are in a different country

It does not recognise a UK zip/postcode (or no zip/postcode at all either for countries that don't use them)

A UK phone number (or a UK phone number with the international dialing code added to it) is not acceptable

so I can't submit the form.

Oh well hopefully they'll get this sorted out quickly

Great!

Looks like it's only working for US backers right now, some address issues for international folks. Hopefully they can fix it quick.

yeah, we were all testing from the US and I guess no one noticed that the state was required .. but it sounds like an easy fix.

Form keeps crashing over 'phone number format'.

I've no freaking idea what mystery format they need it to be in...

Since I can't get past that, I'm not sure if there's another section where I'll be asked exactly what gangs I'd like to receive...

I just did straight numbers, no formatting. It autoformatted to the wanted version when I went to the next box

Not doing that for me, and it will NOT let me past that point.

Weird!

UPDATE!

It isn't working for me in FIREFOX, so I switched to Explorer (Ack!) and it worked fine...

Yep I've got around the issue with international addresses by swapping to Chrome from Firefox and it seems to let you leave the state and Zip code boxes blank however I can't get around the telephone number as it seems to be in a US format that my number won't fit no matter what I try.

they're working on it Will be making the state field not required, and allow more characters for the zip/postal code and the phone #. Hopefully that will take care of the majority of issues

The issues I had have been sorted out (so thanks to game salute there)

although I found I still had to enter something in the state/ province box I was able to use my county

(I also found it didn't work in IE or firefox... But in Chrome it submitted fine)

Thanks Orlando finally got it to work using Chrome by re-entering my city again in the state box and it accepted none in the Zip/Post code box as we don't use post codes here.

I'll ask just to be sure .. I'd hope at least another week or so. Not everyone gets the emails in time. Hell I had one guy just email me a week ago about the old campaign, he forgot all about it and never got the email since everything from KS was coming up as junk mail for him.

But I think they will want to close it pretty soon.. it's going to take a while to order some stuff. Like last time it took something like 9-10 weeks to get all the dice made. But who knows.. maybe they'll just order extras but keep the manager up for good for any stragglers that come along..?

Well they can, to use a complicated legal term, go snuff it as far as I'm concerned. On what grounds do they expect you to actually pay?

Because the box contained "delen bowlinginstallatie, draagbare spelcomputer met beeldscherm, tafels v casinospellen" or in English.. "Parts of a bowling installation, portable gaming console with screen, tables for casino games"

So, that's almost €10 over something they declared as $30

Damn your box must have been considerably bigger then mine.

It was a big box, had zero weight to it and was unopened, I guess they did a blind check then?

None of which means you have to pay them. If they were holding the package hostage you'd have little choice (practically at the very least) but really? You just accepted a package without agreeing to pay that - they actually don't have much to work with to make you pay. Well, whatever you like - but if/when I get such a letter they'll be in for a... colourful reply.

If it happens, I hope yours is easier to read, mine is faded as all feth, they were probably too stingy to buy new toner or something.
