ships interrior and insied of houses are always a nice variation for tables... i have seen some ...one was even a fully cut open airship... so going down that route... always a winning decision...

I really want to do a large flier for 40K based on the Dalek saucers...
just going to cook some dinner for myself, but I'm going to look into some images of Dalek dwellings and Cyber ships among other things for inspiration when I'm done.

Well for now I am focusing on my Hive Fleet, as that is what this thread was always about, but after Christmas when funding will allow, I will hopefully begin a 2x2' board with the Doctor in mind... I think out of everything I am gravitating more towards Skaro and the Daleks than anything else...

haha, I started but then got side tracked with other series to watch  will continue soon, as I'm about the third of the way into Hartnells reign.
...also... how does the imperium intend to smite the Daleks, as well their force fields are impenetrable to ballistics, it takes a hell of a lot to destroy one Dalek. Oh and their force fields aren't technically force fields, they are more time manipulation fields, where they freeze the bullet until all its force and momentum is gone, then they simply fall to the ground.

One Dalek per Tin can I was musing with the idea of making a Dalek army to Codex Necrons I've finished the Dalek Mutant, but I am far from happy with it... no matter what I do to it, it just doesnt work for me... I'm probably being picky... but i just do not like it... So going on the idea of doing a Dalek Necron army... here are the Daleks, and what I think their Necron Codex counterparts could be: Supreme Dalek (White Dalek): Necron Overlord.

well If I did do the Dalek army idea, it'd be castable... that way I could reproduce the entire force for little effort. the main problem, if you can call it one, is the time needed to paint it all. but thats it lols. and I hate you if you get a Reaver... P.S. If your girlfriend can afford to buy you an entire Reaver for your birthday... FRACKING KEEP HER AND NEVER LET GO!!! Jus' Sayin'

Cheers dude, you really have no idea how much I appreciate those words!!! Well the Dalek poster was a google find, but the imperial poster I made myself.
Personally I feel I rushed the paint job a little too much... too much higgledy piggledy lines and not enough time spent wet-blending.
The one thing I am happy with though is the printed signage that I've used, as never in a million years would I have been able to paint them that small.
Oh and I started to download the Doctor Who audio series "I, Davros" as I wanted to hear the full story of Davros' imprisonment and eventual turning on his own kind (the Thal's).
