Wow I have been reading this site off and on for about 2 years, never posted, well that changed today.

I have been looking at the www.cadwallon.com miniatures and really liked the Female Commissar, so I picked up the courage, plus the 4% paypal surcharge and couple other models.

My friends have been debating to buy from this site for a while, so in a way its kind of a test, I want to see how long delivery times are, what quality the castes are and payment options. If they are good I'll encourage my friends to buy (and they will lol) if not I will not be leaving a friendly review.

So order was placed - lets see what happens.

How'd it go? I've actually had two orders with them so far, great experience. Quick emails back, quick shipping, high quality.

Are those ... Power Armor Nipples? Power Nipples?

I'll chime in that the clear IP infringement involved in this is pretty staggering. I think I've even spotted a few GW bits in the casts themselves.

I will say, though, Vulkan, Cain, and Ragnar look phenomenal.

Also fantastic. I have the Ragnar and the Inquisitor and they look really great. The resin feels identical to the resin used by Kromlech. Solid quality.

Here's a look at Ragnar compared to GW metal and plastic wolves.

The vulcan I got was really good quality as well

The Vulkan proxy is stunning. And the price is well, hard to beat for something of that quality. Has me really thinking about taking the plunge.

As big as he looks though, I think I'd actually run him as Tu'Shan and come up with some rules for him.

Yes, you are right, it is a deadly power nipple, one is more than enough. Both nipples is overkill
Sergeant is 40mm high. No GW parts used to sculpt it.
No violations, the sculpture looks familiar, no more than Kabuki or Scibor`s minis.

I'm really interested in the goblin wanderer on the Cadwallon webstore, but there's no price there. Does anyone know if it is even released yet, and what is the cost of it?

It is ready but not released yet. In few weeks we`ll cast it. Price won`t be high instead quality will be highest.

Well I was very impressed with the replies I got from the owner, I think the payment option should be improved as most sites have instant paypal payment. Not wait for 3 days for it to go through. That said maybe its different there, I don't know.

Its been 3weeks and still no delivery, doesn't mean its not coming but I thought I should put a reply in since it has been a while.

Will let you know when I get it.

I think I'll make the suggestion to use a courier or some other international postage service - but you never know

I finally got my miniatures and I am very happy with the quality, i will be suggesting a more expensive postal service as 4-5weeks is a bit long but not excessive.

I'll be putting another order in shortly.

Does GW's IP protection only work in the UK even though GW are a global company?

As opposed to the last year or so that they have been available? I have had a hankering for that not-Vulkan for quite a long time, just been put off by the online stores you need to get them through.

Well.. Russia has never really shown any form of interest in the protection of "foreign" IP.
In this sense it is a bit like China. It's been tollerated to the extreme.

I don't see any chance for GW to fight this + I don't even see an IP infringement to be honest.
