Looking good Panda. The black parts still seem to be missing something, maybe its the pic but they steal from the rest of the job by looking too flat toned.

The black areas could use some of that highlighting I guess

There is grime there, but due to the nature of the color/photos it doesn't show well. I could try to use a lighter pigment, but I must finish this army by the 10th of October. Automatically Appended Next Post: Tonights progress.
Everything was built, and primed. Now to the brushes!

Finally a use for fantasy figures  , which is sad as I started in fantasy and loved it, but the cost of a fantasy army is stupid. My brother in law used to play, and now wants to build a KOW fantasy army. He's got me interested.
Back on topic.... Really love the look of the bodyguard. And those weapons

most recent pictures?
From the more recent pics it seemed the black areas were basically plain black, and the highlights on edges and ridges were hard to see or find, I myself use subtle highlighti9ng and do not go crazy as others have (Tau crisis suits camouflaged, but so over highlighted as to look like a bad crystal) comes to mind, but your big guy seems to have none on the feet

Glad you like the weapons, there my attempt at NMM and to do something different. I wanted to give a feel that they were sharp and had some kind of enchantment on them.

So this weekend I got done.. 1 wraith knight and base coated 2 serpents. Goal for tonight to keep on track of finishing by Wednesday is 3 wave serpents finished tonight.
Sigh, this is going to take some all nighters.
then that only leaves 3 bikes
and 5 guard a day afterwards..
