Not exactly Zombicide related but I thought the news about the GG / Studio McVey team up was interesting.. The Others could turn out to be a tabletop version of The Secret World.

Nifty.

And that guest character artwork - specifically the chick with the two swords - I've seen that before somewhere. Can't remember where though...?

[EDIT]: Wait, found them:

All from Paolo Parente, meant to be a box of 4 characters.

Did they give any sort of indications of when S3 was going to make it to KS or actually come to our doors?

Last week of June for KS - delivery late 2014.

It's already started tooiling so it sounds like the turn around of 4 or 5 months is doable.

There isn't a CMoN general thread for this (and I'm not going to start one but if someone wants to start one and take responsibility for it I'll certainly add a few bits to it) but the schedule is

Kickstarter
Xenoshyft - this Friday
Last week of June into July will be Zombicide Season 3.
Then Rivet Wars Western Front. (Ruska and Ottomans)

KS delivery
Arcadia Quest is on time for now.
Dogs of War may be early.
Wrath of Kings will be August/september. (including Zombicide crossovers)
XenoShyft will be this fall.
Zombicide 3 will be late this year.

To be announced probably KS

Ron and Bones (pretty much ready to go)
Stop the Truck. Mad Max type of thing where you try to get away from raiders.
The Others - 7 Sins
Sedition Wars Expansion

Thanks for the updates.

I'm really liking how the Bow can take out an Abomination on a lucky shot. It will add to the excitement when a survivor is unloading arrows into an A-Bomb praying for a six.

How could a bow take down an Abomination? You need S3.

I wasn't thinking about it only being 1D , but +1 damage for each six rolled, a +1D ranged damage ability, and 2 rolls of 6, and you have Abomb killer.

Yeah, not as good as I was thinking. I didn't think it through before posting.

Is this in reference to the character cards that lack numbers printed on them? Dodgy as hell to be asking for money for corrected ones, especially given the cost of the survivor minis.

This is talking about the Zombicide iOS App, which is getting updated soon bigtime. The way he talked about it, it sounds like you'll be able to play just using the app. The PO/TCM expansions are not free DLC.

Or a character like Wallowitz, getting a +1D to his roll, if he rolls a single 6 it'll do the kill: +1 from character ability, +1 from bow. Equals a 3 in my book!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

There are certainly ways to do it, just not naturally with the bow.

Rue Morgue and Angry Neighbors (mini expansion)

Rue Morgue has 12 survivors and new zombie types Skinners and Crawlers

Angry Neighbors has 3 survivors and new zombie type seeker zombies

Beds work like sewers. When bed cards come up you spawn on each bed.

New Zombie Skinners - Skinners become crawlers when you kill them and had roll 1s on your attack rolls.

New Zombie Type Crawlers - Crawlers like walkers, but last on target priority

New Zombie Type Seeker Zombies - Seekers are like walkers, but get extra activations every time seeker zombies spawn

Plastic Doors

New Terrain type - Holes trap zombies, but survivors and dogs can climb out

New Abomination - Abomb Abominiation - draws all surivors from surrounding zones into his zone after his activation

Human Companions - work like Dog Companions + wargear

iPad App will be updated beyond the usefulness of the original App. There will be cost for content expansion.

Season 4 Military Themed

Made in ie
Fixture of Dakka

Angry Neighbors has 4 Survivors - the 3 backers that paid for I am Legend and 1 backer they selected themselves (the one in the skull t-shirt). 3 of the zombies in it are the I am Zombie backers.

The Abomb has a female alternate sculpt that is KS exclusive.

It looks like season 3 zombies are yellow in colour. Seekers will also be another colour.

Human Companions mentioned - Gunman (can fire weapons even if you don't have one all gunmen in the same zone fire at the same time even if they are not your companion) , Searcher (free search action doesn't take up a gear slot), Handyman (can build barricades), Sniper.

The guest boxes we've seen Paulos two already, Miguel Coimbra did the cheerleader and another not mentioned . Édouard Guiton did the third box it has a kid and a girl dressed like a rabbit!

The video suggests but doesn't confirm that the crows are companions not enemies.

The Military stuff might be an expansion between Season 3 and 4 not necessarily Season 4

Some Survivors can shove zombies into holes. Holes are part of the Angry Neighbors expansion.

There will be new map packs launched outside of KS.

Urgh, why do they kickstart everything? It's actually fething annoying wanting to buy a product and having the experience be a gamble.

It's not a rough shot idea any more, it's a proven product with a consumer base o.O

I would like a lot of this shown but the delivery process sounds like a nightmare most of the time.

Because it works a million times better for them than simply allowing pre-orders

You pretty much contradict yourself there. It's not a gamble. It's a solid product with a consumer base, and they've proven they will deliver

I would like a lot of this shown but the delivery process sounds like a nightmare most of the time.

Impatient vocal minority.

It takes them weeks, a month even, to get all the packages out the door, and longer for them to actually reach their destinations.
People who don't get it in the first wave start getting Jelly and feeling start getting hurt, for no good reason.

I have backed both zombicide kickstarters, received all my items, in well packaged boxes, in perfect conidtion, within the same quarter they have promised.

I got all my Zombicide 2 stuff in proper time, CMON has been pretty good with its Kickstarters. Sounds like you're just new to the process and don't know how it's largely successful. If it was more a flop than a success, don't you think people would have stopped using it? The fact that it continues (and that things like Z:S2 reached a million $ on day 1) should be all the proof you need that it works and it's a widely successful practice. If that doesn't prove it, then maybe you should stay out of it, wait for it to hit shelves, and don't get your promo stuff. Or you can be like us cool kids and have people like Jason Statham on your anti-undead team.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Of all the KS's I've backed, the Zombicide ones have been the most reliable and close to on-time.

They sent me less than half of my W1 order, told me that everything was sent, and it took months of email ping pong and finally the intervention of someone who knows them personally to have the rest of my stuff sent out. I wasn't terribly worried about not going out in the "first wave", but the experience was not a pleasant one (up to the point where I got help there was lots of 2-weeks to reply to an email and "we'll send it Monday"-type bs.)

To be fair, my subsequent waves then arrived quickly and smoothly.

You pretty much just nailed one of the big reasons why people who might have otherwise waited for retail still go in on the KS campaigns. Limited-edition promo models.

You're an outlier Azazelx. Your experiences do not match the majority of people when it comes to Zombicide related Kickstarters, so we shouldn't use what happened to you as a typical example of what might happen. That and I'm pretty sure they did it to you on purpose because they wanted to see if you'd Hulk out if your heart rate got high enough.

Well, the huge packing error may not necessarily be typical, but it's an example of what might happen - and more importantly the difficulty of getting them to sort out any issues that might arise. There were some pretty angry people in the comments as well (some with similar issues), but I didn't start looking at the comments until my order arrived late and messed up, so bear that in mind.
