I have been going with about a two week wiggle room for true right now on the vague release dates and a couple day wiggle on the exact ones. I don't want to open it up too far because that encourages dart throwing behavior.

Big update. I tried to catch all the old 'wave' rumors and nail those with falses. Also cleaned up some formatting issues.

Apparently GW's electronic releases were pretty weak for December. Only H2P: Escape from Goblin Town and Call 2 Arms, Part 3. Anyway, here is an update to StickyMonkey's predictions:

No. There were a couple last year and two more are likely at some point (Slaanesh & Nurgle), but nothing this year.

No WoC character that's an elf.


And this for hastings appears to be false, not true.

I'd also suggest that saying that something in a codex will remain as-is does not normally count as a rumour. If there are other sources saying it's going to change then it might qualify, or if there is a strong trend, but not normally. Take this, for example:

HQ:
- Azrael PENDING
- Belial - not needed for deathwing PENDING
- Sammael - not needed for ravenwing PENDING
- Azmodai PENDING
- Ezekiel PENDING
- Barakiel - named Techmarine/master of the forge! Note: barakiel is known as Angel of Lightning in references PENDING
- Sabrael - guardian of the inner circle, gives bonus to inner circle unit PENDING
- Librarian PENDING
- Company Master TA option PENDING
- Interrogator chaplain PENDING
- Command squad ( option to take TA or bikes with Belial or Sammael respectively, and apothecary, standard bearer, 1 heavy weapon) PENDING


Special characters that already exist should not qualify as a rumour, and neither should things like chaplains and librarians. Otherwise you could have people saying that tactical squads will be troops and get credit for that.

I think we can close out this batch of rumors. We can revisit if the Forsaken/Dragon Ogres rumors shoud be changed to "Wrong Date" once they are actually released. Personally I'd have put "Finecast Characters" as too vague but that's up to you.

I like this claim:

And still he has no problem accepting stuff from people who claim to be involved in the play testing, yet can't spell properly.

I feel bad sometimes. I get where he is coming from, I just don't agree with it.

Personally, if I was him, I would either post everything or nothing. Either post all of the stuff he gets without filter or tell the 'anonymous sources' to post it on their own.

There is no control, how he or the anonymous posters use and change names, so I would keep him as the source.
