If you send the corrections to the list's writer, it's less of a drawback for the next person.

Just to resurrect this thread a little bit - I have previously used Battlescribe but always gone back to Army Builder because I prefer the print layout however Battlescribe has the notable advantage of not having to wait an arbitrary month for the new codex to be included, hence Eldar are available right now which is a big plus. However, is there or are there any XML or similar templates I can get hold of to make Battlescribes print output a bit more similar to Army Builder?

I don't think you can customize the printouts - yet. iirc he was looking at changing that.

Hmm that's a shame. Its one thing that I think Army Builder has the edge. The print outs are clear and all the relevant info is in one place rather than too much flicking between sheets of paper. Hopefully it is something that gets addressed in the future.

depending on your level of comfort with html, you could simply save your roster as html and replace the battlescribe-generated css with your own. it's all in the header of the file, so pretty easy to swap out with whatever you cook up.

I've got almost everything (and that includes the stuff you need to play) into the new Eldar file (started with the leaks), but lost a bit of steam. I'll try to get the flyers and the Wraithknight in, today.

Just picked the pro version up on Kindle and free for the PC, I have a Question:

Multiple forces under one list not working on Kindle edition. There just is not an option to add an additional force, so this prevents allies and fortifications. I tried the same data files on the PC version and adding a 2nd force works fine.

The Kindle version is 1.13.04b and the PC is 1.13.05b. Is this the reason for it and does anybody know if the kindle version is gonna get an update?

Just want to state another reason I love this software (mobile app):

I have been toying with a small IG ally force for my C:SM army. And with the app I can build different lists without even owning the codex.

I just like the fact that i can get an idea of what I can put together without having to buy anything.

Anyone know a repo for Vampire Counts that works? Every one I find has non functioning BSB options, which is fairly annoying.

Does anyone have any idea how to make a data file for battlescribe?

Nevermind figured it out.

Just wanted to say again How much I love this program. I hadn't used it in quite a while, but the new version downloaded just fine and I had a KoW list in minutes!

It's probably a somewhat unique feature (since most KOW material is free), but having the special rules print out at the bottom of the page is brilliant. I'm terrible at remembering them and it will save me alot of page flipping.

Glad you guys are still enjoying BattleScribe

There are plenty of updates to come - among them is an overhaul of the output. It works well to view at the moment, but needs the option to condense it. Plus table-based layout. And better plain text output. Plus the ability to customise all that. And...

Well you get the picture...

An export to PDF would be a great option on the mobile version, if it isn't too difficult, or already implemented and I've missed it?

Thanks!

The reason it wasn't showing up for me was because my copy of battlescribe was an old version.

This thread is quite old, but I think I'd rather post battlescribe stuff here than somewhere else.

Tried it yesterday and I must say I like it.
One thing I wanted to ask, am I the only one who gets an error trying to update from randomhit supplemental repository (one containing IA and such)?

Update: Now basic repository doesn't work either. Is there a downtime of sorts, maybe?
