Grundz, nope, see above, it is definitely cool. I just didn't want to start it myself because I started the Gargantuans and Cyriss ones (both getting their own books). If no one has put it up by tomorrow I will myself, though. Going to PM a few of the regular posters here to see if they will first, since it will take some updating.

Do we know who is sculpting this yet? Lylyth has had some very nice and some very meh figs so far. Hoping for the latter.

It's like their models have become parodies of themselves. Are they intentionally mocking their own infatuation with huge shoulder pads, or are am I expected to take it at face value? And I'm not being sarcastic here, I've been out of the loop with PP for quite some time. But this and Mrs. Lilith Claus... Have they given up on trying to craft a serious setting?
On a sidenote, what's with the huge leg plates? He wouldn't be able to make a step with that in the way! Man...

They also look like a constantly decaying Troll whose rotting flesh can be used as a tenctacle.
And Trollkin hate them, so I highly doubt that they'd ever be a beast for them.

We're talking Menoth vs Ouroboros levels of hate. Black Trolls raid, pillage, and murder Trollkin villages for fun and to top it off they kill other Trolls just to steal their whelps(since they can't generate their own). Black Trolls are an utter abomination to other Trolls. I can't even come up with a proper absurd situation to properly describe it without being offensive(it involved Jews and Hitler).

IIRC, weren't Black Trolls basically troll vampires that were just a skeleton and a shedload of coagulated blood?

Pretty much, yes. Except the descriptor still describes rotting, sloughing skin, whilst the picture looks like blood.
I went back and read the entry when the picture showed up.
