I really like her head, arms, overall pose...but that armour makes no sense even by fantasy standards. I guess she is really worried about enemies hitting her legs, and not that worried about them hitting her torso.

How the hell is that different from any other fantasy setting?

Whereas "chainmail bikini" or equivalent is a staple in fantasy settings, at least they can be argued to be light as not to encumber the bearer. Whereas in the case of the Beast Mistress, she has armour in her legs, thus slowing her down, but no protection in her torso, making it even more illogical than usual.

This is an aesthetic with rhyas ans aeryn as well, they're just baggy judo-ish pants with decorations no reason to get dumb about it, and it would make sense that a lesser warbeast master would have extra armor to deal with the ankle biters.

Her face looks like she is saying "Ehhh, If you wanna go right on and attack"
I have to say, I think Legion outside of their warbeasts have some worst sculpts I have ever seen

"So, do please come along when we're promoting something new and need photos for the facebook page or to send to our regional manager, do please engage in our gaming when we're pushing something specific hard and need to get the little kiddies drifting past to want to come in an see what all the fuss is about. But otherwise, stay the feth out, you smelly, antisocial bastards, because we're scared you are going to say something that goes against our mantra of absolute devotion to the corporate motherland and we actually perceive any of you who've been gaming more than a year to be a hostile entity as you've been exposed to the internet and 'dangerous ideas'. I think these threads may be a bit old (mid September 2012) to use... I updated the title anyway, but won't mind if someone wants to start a more current Hordes thread now that Gargantuans is long since out.

Not a fan of the baldy no- noses, but I do have to say they've got some of the coolest war beasts.
If I can find a despoiler for a reasonable price I'm sure my son will try to goad me into buying one, seeing as it looks more reptilian than the trolls that I enjoy and he seems to despise.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
Internet seems to unanimously hate on the Despoiler sculpt, but I don't mind it. Actually happy it's not an upgrade kit to a plastic Rhinodon kit, as I'd have to buy two things to field him
I am out of the Warmahordes loop, but what is the deal with the lanterns on Despoiler? Are those some kind of weird Skorne technology or are they really just lanterns?

If you'd rather, I could do a combined PP thread for all the things.

Void Seeker Mordrikaar has them as well, but I'm not sure what their function is. They look kind of dorky hanging off the despoiler though.

From his profile: "Rather than relying upon a crystal eye as extollers do, Mordikaar crafted arcane lanterns that focus and amplify his spiritual powers as well as reveal and manipulate the spirits gathered around him"
I would guess this is supposed to be more of the same.
