Yeah title was a bit of a false lead / letdown here! Thought it'd be a conversion part for sale... just kitbash conversions not for sale probably don't belong in N&R imo.

Still a letdown when a Kroot Girl conversion is announced by a conversion bits manufacturer in the headline, then some customer just glued a Kroot rifle to a human.
Imagine Bidspudlo announcing a female Guard conversion, then presenting a hen that lived among IG soldiers.

Some kind of defense line huh? Looks interesting!

I'm all in favour of alternate counts-as Defense Lines, but so far this one looks boringly similar to the GW imperial one. Here's hoping a bunch of original detailing is to be added.

And here's hoping that Bitspudlo also have some xenos counts-as Defense Lines in mind.

I just can't get past those little Chibi wheels, which is a real shame. Maybe if it had some kind of half-track version I could see it, especially since the prices came out so fair in the end.

What do you think about them?

I'm not sure... on a vehicle of this nature... that you'd want to tracks to extend beyond the protection of the hull.

Just a thought.

i quite like the tracks, hate the cannons, they just make it stupidly wide.

I'm wondering if, since it appears there's a hole for the door anyway... if you couldn't make a gun mount where the back part of the gun looks as if it swings into the hull rather than having the whole things stick out like that. You wouldn't even need to model the whole gun then, just make a type of housing with a swiveling pivot from the front part of the gun to move on.

Yeah, I love the sponson design, but they stick out too far. The mounting needs to be recessed further into circular pivot.


The little tracked front wheel was unexpected, but it's kind of growing on me.

Actually I really like the sponson look with the 'heavy cannons'. Tracks... I am not sure yet. I would like to see the rear track and one of the original wheels on the front.

I think the rear tracks need some kind of Schürzen.

I don't get the tracked front wheel. And I too would like the tracks to be a little narrower so they don't extend past the hull walls (although maybe a 'snow' version with wide tracks would also be good?)

I also agree re the sponsons being too wide - those mountings could look great on maybe a gun emplacement on a fort, but seem too bulky on a vehicle that size.

Tracks could be slightly narrower so they aren't wider than the hull. I like the cannons bulky. Would order one if the end-result is like this.

That looks awesome. I've been thinking of some Gue'vesa to go along with my Tau and that would fit in well as a hover modified human transport.
