Yeah, the class system is rather unorthodox.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

So how's the planning going?

OK, I suppose - it is just that I've been absolutely slammed at work.

The current plan is to print out all of your character sheets and then compose the start - I've got it more or less planned out in my head, just need to put pen to paper.

Or, finger to keyboard...

OK!

I am just about ready to start this up here.

I apologize for the delay, but 'real life' reared its ugly head and before you know it... delays!

Here's the list of players and characters that I have been sent/seen completed sheets for - I went and copy/pasted everything into an easy for me to consult document, but I seem to me unable to find some key pieces of info on some characters - please fill in the blacks (the (?)'s) where appropriate!:

Melissia - November Forster, Human Road Warden

Grakmar - Leopold, Human (?)

Ahtman - Dieter Ulrich, Human Initiate of Sigmar

A Town Called Malus - Mormacar Arkhenkarn, Elf Thief

n0t_u - Torendil, Elf Vagabond

Cruentus - Lothar Tromm - Human Zealot

We're almost ready to go!

That's quite a few humans.

Couldn't someone have played a Dwarf

Funny that you should mention that...

Anyway, I'll be working up the start over in the Survivor Games and Chain Fiction section, as I guess that's the best place for these things.

I'll post an announcement here when we're ready to start!

Especially if you do it whilst listening to Flamenco guitar

Naturally, only the best of spanish names was good enough for my Diestro!

I am really looking forward to this!

I nominate taht tune to be the diestro's theme song. Every time you read a post by The CF, you MUST listen to that music.

Well now I think we should all post a theme song for what we imagine for the other characters.

For November (Melissa) I am selecting Mind Heist. When you listen to it imagine a 16 year old riding through the forests in The Empire, to or from something dangerous.

You know what, it's not worth it. I'm not going to let your poor attitude ruin what should be a good experience.

Bad attitude?

Come on, you put yakety sax out. That's not something you'd use for any serious scene.

Maybe if we were playing Paranoia or Toons or something...

I take FFG roleplays seriously... I find it somewhat ironic that you would claim that I'm the one having an attitude about this.

Yes, bad attitude. Game hasn't even started and your normal jackassery is already coming out.

You said it twice about two radically different pieces. Are you not aware of what you do? Also, not every scene has to be serious. Sometimes life is funny. It wasn't supposed to be serious, and in recognizing that, a reasonable response isn't to be insulting (twice). I know it is in your nature to be off-putting, but I thought maybe a game would suppress that instinct to be an ass.

There's a difference between talking about differences in musical taste (as well as differences in opinion on when music is applicable to any given scene)... and using direct personal insults. So... I don't have any desire to continue this conversation, given its current direction. I think I'm gonna talk about WFRP2E's rules instead.

Hey Alpharius, how are we gonna do armor values, simple or advanced? I may have missed it if you mentioned it earlier.

Rule number one people: Don't split the party.
It's also rule number two, five, seven and fifteen.

Also, if this is how you guys are talking to each other now then I can't wait to see how you are when combat starts

This will be such fun

Armor rules will be advanced - I don't think it will be too much of a problem/hard to manage/etc.

I promise - the game will be starting soon - hopefully this weekend!
