I got some Resistance fighter heads to swap the heads on the Sedition Wars figures - they are a good fit.

You can see the results here:

I saw those a wee while ago. You did a lovely job of the conversions and instigated a rush on head sales! I owe you a pint for that (or maybe, should you make another order, some free sprues would be more appropriate given the geography involved...).

I just want to say that these miniatures are amazing. Please make plastic Space Nun warriors! Or women in power armor.

You know what... I was looking for a squad of veterans, I'd love to use Resistance Girls instead.

Let me saunter over to that website realy quick...

Very excited - Project A is officially a "Go"!

Thank you for these stunning miniatures, I am really looking forward to this!

I just got my package in the mail today. I'll say, it always warms my cockles that someone in the company actually writes "Thanks" on the invoice.

The minis are stuning. Amazing, beautiful. I adore the fact that cloth is "allowed" to be cloth and not cluttered with details.

They are going to be a pleasure to paint.

My package arrived yesterday!! The models have a very high level of detail and smoothness. Commissar Venko only has the hint of a mold line - very well done!

So excited to get going on Project A next week.

Glad they arrived save and sound, guys!

And a heartfelt 'thanks' it is too, for all orders big or small. I get a really kick out of sending my figures all over the world and I'm grateful for every order, especially in this era of Kickstarter. It's not something I say very much, but every order really is helping Statuesque grow just as much as any Kickstarter pledge. Without your orders there would be no Statuesque!

Anyway, here's a reminder that the current offers end tomorrow - the free sprues with the Resistance Fighters and Cell Officers as well as the introductory price of Eva. Sadly P&P will have to go up on international orders too, due to a price increase from the Royal Mail, so now is a great time to order!

Your postage was extremely affordable, so it going up slightly is not a big deal, especially for the quality you ship. Can't wait to use your cracking hairdo heads on a few custom minis.

And you just made me realize that I can use your girls as an Ariadna sectorial force. I just need a few more to bring my group up to 17 minis.

Ever thought about making a "Special Forces" special? Grab five of the individual gals for a little rebate?

Get 4 girls, and add a pack or resistance cell officers (2) for a nice mixed squad with a spare

lol yeah.

Every time I order stuff I hope it will become free. :/ It's yet to happen though. Andrew, are you reading this? Make my dreams come true! xD

Also:

Statuesque Resistance Fighter is featured in a review of the Dust Studios Bases over here: http://dust-warfare.net/2013/04/review-dust-studios-cracked-ground-miniature-bases/

Notice how sexy she looks on that base!?

Nope, you got it backwards. The base now looks sexy because of the Commissar on it.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

As a rule, I avoid metal minis; they're a pain to work with, they're a pain to convert, and they're usually not as nice as resin alternatives.

But I have to put in at least a small order here, because someone who sculpts actual women instead of caricatures deserves support.

Now I just have to figure out how to remove the hair from the Cracking Hairdo heads and the top of Venko's hat without damaging them.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Thanks Yodhrin. I hope you'll be pleasantly surprised by the metal castings. I also put a lot of effort into making the figures as painless to assemble as possible; I learned from the first four Statuesque figures that skinny arms are rather tricky to pin and now I feel the Resistance Fighter range is a very easy, yet adaptable, range to get on the table.

In other news, I'm pleased to announce that Fenris Games will be stocking Statuesque Miniatures at Salute on the 20th of April! They will be carrying the entire range, so get along to Stand TB02 to check out the girls (and Inigo...) in person!

Here are two shots of the three chicks I have done so far. Infinity Fusilier is only basecoated to give an idea of size and proportions.

Ooh missed these til now. Looking good, Mathieu! I particularly like the red coat and blue jeans combo! Thanks for the second order too. It was posted yesterday so the girls should be winging their way to you as I type!

Thank you Andrew. I've finished basing them, on a thin piece of cork to simulate old pavement, and the lip of the bases are painted as if they were standing on the FRRM logo from Infinity. They really, really turn out fantastic.

Just received my second order! They look just as good as the first batch. They were ordered 2 days after Hasslefree and showed up before! Good show.

Also, thank you for the extra gas-mask heads. I'll put them to good use, I promise.

They're being corked as I type... which probably means something it shouldn't somewhere in the English-speaking world.

Glad they arrived in good time, Mathieu.

In other news, I've been fiddling about with the newsletter system and I think I've got the first Statuesque Newsletter sorted and scheduled to be sent on Friday. It will include details of Statuesque at Salute with Fenris Games, a couple of sneak peeks and also a weekend P&P special offer that those of you who won't be attending Salute may be interested in.

Anyway, if you fancy signing up to the Newsetter, head over HERE and we shall see if Friday will indeed bring the scheduled email!

Success!

So now we're offering FREE Postage and Packaging on any order of £50 or more! This offer runs until Sunday night, 21st of April.

That was you don't have to miss out on a bit of saving if you're not going to Salute this weekend. Did I mention the Statuesque Miniatures range will be at Salute with Fenris Games? Stand TB02? I'm sure I must have...

I've decided to discontinue a number of figures once the current stock runs out. There are a variety of reasons for this- too fiddly, not matching current Statuesque style or simply poor sales (Inigo!). Most will be reborn in some form or another, particularly little Ezmeralda who will be stalking long-forgotten halls again soon. Catch 'em while you can!

Having bought most of them (and even a couple of the unloved Inigo Wild)

I'll recommend you all rush off to the Statuesque webstore and buy them (especially Havana Grey)

And I came this close --><-- to ordering Mei-Lin last time.

Hopefully you brew up a batch of new stuff soon so I can feel justified giving you more money!

Surprised Mei-lin sold poorly... she is pretty awesome. Like the above dude I own all the figures (Except inigo & Ezmeralda) lol and I love them all.
