Mei-Lin has sold well in her time, as have they all except for Inigo and to a lesser extent Ezme. However, sales of these now tick over and the cost of restocking them isn't paid for for a while. I'd rather spend the money on new figures that better match the range as it is today. @Mathieu: Nice stuff, thanks for sharing!

Hi,
With the latest batch of figures sent to the printers earlier this week, I have been able to get back to work on the Faceless Oppressor range. I have now finished the basic trooper pack, though in a change from the original plan, this pack now contains four figures rather than three. With the two NCO figures, this means six unique poses even before the Heavy Weapon troops are included.
Each figure features a separate, poseable head and separate rifles which can be swapped with the weapons from the Special Weapon sprue - a flame thrower, grenade launcher, squad automatic weapon and an energy weapon. The renders show the figures on 25mm bases.
Next I will be finishing the NCO pack of two figures. They are already posed and nearing completion. Each figure will have a separate head as with the troopers and two separate arms. The arms will be able to be used on both figures allowing plenty of variety. I also plan to make a sprue of NCO weapons, such as laser pistols, energy pistols and possibly some close-combat weapons. Any ideas as to what to include would be much appreciated!
The original plan was to release the Troopers, NCOs and Heavy Weapon Teams at the same time. However, I think I will likely release the Troopers and NCOs first, giving me time to perfect the Heavy Weapon teams. It will be less of an outlay for me (and also for the customers!) but I intend to get the Heavy Weapon teams released as soon as possible after the initial launch.
The launch is still a few months away, with plenty of Resistance Fighter goodness still to come before then, but I'm really pleased to have completed this first stage of the preparation!
Cheers,
Andrew Rae
@BrookM: Nice idea! If I were to do her again, I would probably include a normal dog as an option too.

Those FOs look great!
Will the flamethrowers they get be compatible with the Resistance? For Project A I will be using the gals as Veterans for my IG army, & I'd love to have a flamer for them...
BTW I have assembled the first three - Resistance Cell officers and the Commissar:
(I can't decide if I am going to be using these bases, as they are quite a bit larger than "official" 40k bases)
I am really impressed with the quality of the molds, almost no mold lines and it was a breeze to pin the arms as the shoulder mounting area was so nice and flat.
Looking forward to finishing out my order later this week.

I've got a flamethrower on a sprue for the Resistance Fighters that should be released in May, just need to finalise mould allocation. The FO weapons won't fit the Resistance Fighters. I considered it, but decided not to limit myself in that way. The weapon stock is attached to the weapon on the FOs rather than the figure as on the Resistance fighters and the hand positions are slightly different. Basically, I what I learned from doing the Resistance Fighters I used to make the Faceless Oppressors even better.

Glad they went together easily for you. I made a particular effort to design the Resistance Fighter range in a way that would go together easily despite being metal so I'm glad it paid off for you. Regarding bases, if you would like 25mm round bases in your next order let me know. I originally switched to 30mm because my supplier's mould had broken so the 25s weren't available at the time I needed them. I actually prefer 25mm bases but the thought of switching all the packs and changing all my photos is a bit daunting.

The offer runs until the 27th of May or while stocks last.
Head over to the store! http://www.statuesqueminiatures.co.uk
I've also just sent the second Statuesque Newsletter. You can read it HERE. Sign up NOW!

“This is Tallulah Caine reporting for KPTV News, from the Occupied Zones.”
Ace TV news reporter Tallulah Caine and her trusty cameraman Carter have been in the Occupied Zones for many months, bringing stories from all sides of the struggle straight into homes around the world. She has reported on vicious fighting, the horrendous conditions for those living in the Occupied Zones and the political machinations of the parties involved. Now, however, she believes she has the scoop that will change her career – and possibly the world - forever...

Coming soon from Statuesque Miniatures. More pics on the Facebook page.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

It depends what games you play, I guess. In skirmish games they would simply be characters but in a battle wargame they could represent some kind of bonus, perhaps to moral or leadership, which would portray the troops giving that little bit extra for the camera!

There would definitely be a use as an objective, or bonus, especially in a campaign or set of narrative battles...can't wait to get my hands on them and add them to the "Project A" set!

I think a wee update on the status of the next releases is in order.
Due to family commitments, I will be away from Thursday 4th July until Tuesday 9th of July. Any orders that are placed after 5pm UK time on Wednesday 3rd of July will not be sent until Wednesday 10th of July. Sorry for the inconvenience, but a long threatened family gathering means I must make the perilous journey northwards...
I had hoped to have the next wave of releases on sale by now, but unfortunately the castings weren't dispatched when promised. Hopefully, I will receive the castings on the 10th so sales can finally begin. There have been a lot of delays with this release, including moving home, so it will be good to get them on sale! Thanks for your patience.
The releases will be Tallulah Caine and her cameraman Carter, and the Resistance Fighter Recon Team of two figures. There's plenty planned for the future too, so hopefully we can get back to some regular releases now I'm fully settled in to my new home.

Statuesque Miniatures is pleased to announce our latest set of new releases! First of the new releases is the Resistance Recon Team. As will all figures in the Resistance Fighter range, these figures feature separate heads allowing you to use any head from the range. Additionally, the accessories they hold in their left hands - a pair of binoculars and a radio handset - can be used on either figure. To top it all off, the weapon arms are also interchangeable and fully compatible with the Cell Officer Weapons Sprue and the Resistance Cell Officers! The Resistance Recon Team is priced at £9. Purchase two sets for £8 each and three or more sets for only £7 each! In addition each purchase of the Resistance Recon Team placed up to and including the 31st of July will receive a FREE Cell Officer Weapons Sprue! Next is the release of Tallulah Caine and her trusty cameraman Carter. These figures are something of an update of the news TV news team I sculpted for the Frothers Unite sculpting competition in 2009. They were only available briefly in the winners set and since then I've been asked a number of times what happened to them, so I thought I better finally sculpt some replacements! Tallulah Caine and Carter are priced at £8.00 for the set and as usual there are discounts for multiple purchases. Head over to the shop to pick up your news team! Of the five figures that are to be discontinued once current stock has sold, Kitzie Rama is now out of production. Additionally, stock of Inigo Wilde is low and stock of Havana Gray is very low. Head over to the shop to grab them while you can! That's it for this month, I think. Remember to keep an eye on our Facebook page and Twitter account for the latest news from Statuesque Miniatures! p.s. Nice conversions, Stephen!
