Well to be fair, EndWar wasnt actually very successful. I got it for 6 dollars on Steam and thought enjoyed it but than again, I got it for 6 dollars. The prologue was pretty good in my eyes and if the entire game was like that it would have been pretty good overall. However it seemed designed around that mass online multiplayer feature I thought I saw it had

Oh yeah, I remember Endwar. What a gakky game, gimmick based game.
Wasn't it critically acclaimed though? I remember it receiving great reviews, and alot of hype went into it.

you DO realize that another starcraft had just come out, and many of us refuse to refer to it as starcraft 2 because it fails to provide any meaningful diffrences to disntinguish it from the pervious starcraft especially as none of the mechanics have changed?

They weren't even reasons tbh, I would much rather play both or instead of AVP to keep with the rts I would say CNC.

There's too many reasons to list for me to say how much I dislike Starcraft

Then you should refer to it as Starcraft 2. Especially sense the two games are extremely different from each other.
You may have noticed they tell two very different stories (SC had 3 Camps, SC2 had 1)
The way they tell the story is very different (Interaction between characters, pick the order of your missions)
The massive additions done to User Map Settings how can can do anything you want pretty much
The host of new units, removal of a few classics

If you say that Starcaft 2 shouldnt be refered to as a sequal because the factions look very similar to the way they were in the original game and because the combat mechanics are the same you have a strange opinion on what a sequel to a game should be.

Logically there are only like 3 Command and Conquers right? Command and Conquer and Red Alert 3 and Generals? There are no other sequels in that universe?
Only one Warcaft?
Only one Medal of Honor?
Only 2 Call of Duties?
Only 2 Resident Evils?

Who said they needed to do ANY of this to make a good sequel. Im not saying Starcaft 2 is a good sequel but to say that Starcaft 2 doenst even deserve the name of Starcaft 2 because its not any different from the original is just... dumb and makes me wonder what you expected out of Starcaft 2. I personally expected a good story (it was okay) that was of considerable length with balanced factions, great multiplayer, and amazing User Map Settings.

Would you refer to something like the Phantom Menace as "Star Wars" (When you meant ONLY the Phantom Menace and none of the others)
