What a lovely lot of folk at Soda Pop

what a super set of options

(but it does look like BD & SSP gets a better deal figure wise, though Cerci's is big)

Lol

Melikes. Could spend another $50-60 here. Probably will. We can up our pledge after all this is done correct. Because I'm thinking I need to look at all of this over again so I can up my pledge appropriately.

Also, what about that BD chick someone posted between 1 and 20 pages back? The one who rolls in the Black Dragon armor. Is she gonna make it into here?

THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!!!

Don't forget the Priestess is twice the size of a normal mini as well so it's only the Blowhards that seem a little over priced - by comparison to the others perhaps 2 for $10 unless there's something we've missed

Where does it say that the Serpent Priestess is twice the size of a normal mini? Am I missing links again?

No it doesn't say that anywhere I'm just assuming her size going by the other Noh minis and Zineda in particular for the Priestess size have a look at this picture and you'll see the size difference

Are only the cosplay/sde and penny arcade models limited?

It's getting a bit to much (cash-wise) so I have to make choices :p So some advice is appreciated

Thanks.

I think they're the only limited things. Of course, at current count there are 12 limited things. That's a lot!

I asked a similar question on the SP website and they said that special edition models are limited release, but not limited in number. They may get second runs, but will not see major distribution. In the case of these, the kickstarter states they are intended to be convention exclusives (I assume it means available at every con they attend.)

7 limited SE figs
3 (well in about 15 mins at current rate) SDEs
2 Penny Arcades

my guess is the penny arcades will be hardest to get later as the will have been licenced for just this KS, and they're more expensive, so folk may give them up first if funds are short

Blowhards are 2 for $10 just confirmed by CMON they will fix the update shortly

Yeah - the limited editions (on top of everything else) are making this quite an expensive kickstarter if you want to snag these things while it's your only chance to do so...

7 cosplays
6-7 SDE (eventually, I'm assuming 1 for each faction, + maybe a Marie-Claude?)
2 PA
= $160-170 just to snag all the "limited" stuff.

It might be better if they did an SDE 'pack'. Like $50 for all the SDE's added to this (and throw in the Candy & Cola SDE character as well).

Don't forget $30 for a Plush Cola doll too, that's here or cons only as well

You could always redeem or trade-in some Faction Starters or Rule Books if you're pledging Savior or more.

At the Savior level you can trade in a Faction Starter and Rule Book for a total of $85 credit. That means that you could get the following:

1 x Faction Starter
7 x SE Minis
7 x SDE Minis
2 x PA Minis

For about $165. Cheaper than purchasing everything individually since you need at least a Merchant Level pledge of $50 in order to buy stuff in the first place.

Edit: At that point it might be more convenient to just go Double Savior for $190 actually, havent worked out the math.

I'll have to check myself. I'm in for Saviour, plus an additional starter (plus the big Axe Robot, the Pit Crew, 4 extra Ltd. Eds and Gave & Tycho). Adding the Black Dragon, Wrecker and Purifier girls will make it more expensive, so I'm wondering if a double-Saviour will help.

So...

3 x Faction Starters
8 x SE Minis
2 x PA Minis
1 x Black Diamond Extras
1 x Cerci Speed Circuit Extras
1 x Black Dragons
1 x Purifiers
1 x Wreckers

Comes out to $275 if you Double Savior and trade in one Faction Starter and one Rule Book.

You can trade in faction starters?

I'll need to re-read all that stuff then. Thanks for the info!

Yes, you can trade in Faction Starters at the Savior Level and up. But you can only trade in half of the Factions Starters for that level. And I believe the value of those trade-ins go down. I'm not certain on the specifics.

Ok, yeah, $60 saving if I do it that way (after adding in Purifiers, Wrecker, x2 Black Dragons & Rook).

In fairness as soon as the wife saw the plush toy she told me to buy it for her. It's a rare occassion she wants anything so when it is a way for me to sneak more money in for models I'm down!

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Is there anyone in the U.S. that will let me piggy back on them to get the SDE figs? I like the Relic Knights stuf but just had twins and I got to watch my budget.

Next up SDE Kisa @ $530k

Then Boost Tokens @ $560K

Boosts are little augments you can bring along with your cadre to improve their performance! Normally represented with flat tokens put on the base of the model, if we hit $560k each Savior level pledge will receive 1 set of these great 3D Boost Tokens, (i.e. 1 at Savior, 2 at Double Savior and 3 at GTGEA) and will be available for $10 a set!

Finally a hint at more models coming up EX2+ boost perhaps
.... and what else is in store? Perhaps... more models?
