You can trade out 1 starter faction and a rulebook from Savior for $85 credit you must keep the second starter faction

- May trade in 1 Faction Starter for every 2 for $50/$45/$40 in credit for Savior, Double Savior and Got to Get Em All respectively. i.e. Savior will be 1 at $50, Double Savior 2 at $45 and GTGEA 3 at $40 each max.

I'm already in for GTGEA + $100~ so couldn't I just call that another Savior. Sell back 3 books and 2 starters for $205?

If My math is correct it will be an extra $195 in goodies. +50 from savior starter, +40 from ggea starter, +105 from three books

Chibi Kasaro to unlocked

Soda Pop Miniatures 2 minutes ago

Hey everyone - the bases for all the SDE models will indeed be dungeon tile textured as with our other models - Kasaro here will likely go through a few more renditions before we land on the final look - the hope is that we can bulk him out a bit more - as he is a raging 8 foot tall demon lord...

There should be one more SDE special edition waiting in the wings, but I have doubts there will be any more after that. Coolmini implied there were six in a couple of the posts.

People made a big deal over nothing, so KS pulled it.

I ended up funding it through their in-house site (it ended at a little north of $50k), and I have to say, their communication afterwards (and, come to think of it, during) has been pretty infuriating.

For example, at the main pledge level, there was a tee added. If you didn't check their facebook page, they never let you know (say, via the email you used to pledge...) that you had to select a size during a 3 week or so window or you get a male large by default.

They ran their in-house campaign in the most bizarre, lackadaisical fashion, and it simply puzzled me. If I were them, I would have been promoting the heck out of it and really getting it to be an about-face for the company. Their posts were few and far between, the details sparse... I'm interested in a few models from this Kickstarter (RK), and I remain very hesitant to do business with them in this fashion. I'm thinking waiting for retail is how I'm handling them in the future.

Thanks Buzzsaw. That's what I am afraid of with this team. They do not appear organized or even invested in getting their product out to the people. I'm very hesitant about how this is all going to end.

I hope, for all the people involved, that is works out, but I can't say I'm confident in any way that this game come out in a timely and organized manner.

Looks kind of hurried there.

Personally, I don't like the way they're going with Doctrine. They should have focused on the precedent set by Kisa, Fiametta, and the Prefects and gone full bore Harem Manga High School. Base their inspiration off of Negima, Tenchi Muyo, Maken Ki, Zero's Familiar, and so on. Instead its going for a more generic Magic Soldiers look.

But you get the 2 extra SE minis, which one would presumably be getting at this level, for another $20 value, yes? So really for that extra $100, you've got a $215 value at that point, assuming you want 8 of the LE minis. Correct?

Also, anyone notice the Blowhards are a 2 pack now?

Actually, Deke used packing up and sending out those and one of the reasons the rules pdf took so long. The promo models were at gencon as well so they are confirmed to be produced.
I have no idea if anyone has got theirs yet but it seems to be late in the fulfillment cycle.

Okay, I'm satisfied the problems with this kickstarter have been the result of incompetence rather than malice - and, boy, has it been one hell of a ride that almost saw me jumping back off that rollercoaster over the rulebook business - but I'm in for Black Diamond and Cerci Speed Circuit. Pleasantly surprised that the latest faction extras are only $10 each; easier to take a risk on them. I mean, fair enough, I've seen the video review of the current metal Black Dragons and dug up enough greens, renders and such for Cerci to convince me that delicious exoskeleton concept will probably survive the transition to plastic relatively unscathed...but, well, there's always ones that don't like the Sword Sworn and Diamondback/Breaker Team raising their ugly head. The only reason I'm happy paying for such crude, blocky, unfaithful executions as the latter - which was deemed acceptable for one of the three largest models in the game, no less! - is because I can fool myself into thinking I'm getting it for free. Still, if that exoskeleton gets a dismounted pilot as a boost - it's probably going to be something like a helper-bot but one can hope - I think I can risk another tenner on one to convert into an Iguana for Infinity (with the HI occupant fudged by mounting a ballistic shield on the front of the exoskeleton which the dismounted pilot carries when they eject). Plus I'll need to do the trio of lovely N'oh ladies once they're available individually. Oh, and the Agha are nice too and...

Dentry wrote:What's this about alternate poses? My Relic Knights are piloted by twins.
You, sir, are a very naughty boy. I wonder if I can have Malya riding Malya riding the mech...

DaveC wrote:Yes there will be a CKPM
Just to check: with the previous CKPMs, you've been able to add items to your pledges at the same price as they were offered during the kickstarter, yes?

Dentry wrote:The boost tokens look very characterful and don't fill me with Raeg™. I'm curious how big they'll be.
Not very, since they're supposed to fit on the character's base.

Also.... where's Sophia Drake?!
Presumably she's the boost for the Black Dragons. I'm curious as to what the boost for the Blowhards will be; they've only got two small figures currently so their boost must be comparatively larger to compensate. Please be a bomb cart, please be a bomb cart, please be a bomb cart...

DaveC wrote:Battle poses will be alt poses for Calico Kate, Malya and One Shot; i.e. not so pinup for those more seriously inclined. These will be a free inclusion, so you can pick which pilot you'd like to use!
I hope the other three get alternative poses as well so they don't feel left out. Whilst Kisa may not have received complaints about cheesecake - because, hey, the rest of Doctrine - she could still benefit from the option to sit her properly in the saddle, Sebastian from the option to have him striking a more dynamic pose, and Kasaro-to from...well, let's just say that some days a space-faring, soul-devouring towering hunk of ruddy manhood can feel that perhaps his usual blunt instrument of choice isn't quite bringing the panache to the job that his fabulous self deserves.

Makaleth wrote:why would you want another PACE robot...
Shu'up. Robots is sexy... Well, as I mentioned I'm going to model my BD and CSC as a diorama of anime military/police vs. the Hell's Belles biker gang so having a pair of drones on each side rather than just the one adds to the verisimultitude. And I'll probably pick up another pair down the road to convert to Infinity remotes since they're absolutely perfect, right down to the unfeasibly-undersized guns. (If you're not familar with Infinity, remotes are their version of the expensive, points-cheap unit that seems to crop up in every miniatures game, with the added bonus of having a different official model for each variation.)

terrainguy wrote:The Shattered Sword minions are complete. We are looking at potentially doing more poses but they will not differ substantially from what is shown.
That's disappointing, since the sculpted designs of the Sword Sworn look like nothing more than generic fantasy knights who found some tiny guns, but even just fixing the derpy-ballerina poses would turn a lot of people back to the faction.

The word is they will be shipping "soon", so... no, they have not delivered on it. Last communication I am aware of, they haven't received their own shipment, but will be shipping it out once they get it. Time will tell.

Damn, didn't notice DaveC already got it up.

Time for substance!

Bosses as Stretch Goals? Very interested in this. Does Relic Knights have anything in the rules about Bosses? Or is the name of the stretch goals simply referring to the position/potency of the character/creatures that will be unlocked?

Still got my fingers crossed for Sophia Drake, Black Dragon Boss.

Should have known Sophia as a boost was too good to be true. Saw the new stretch goals and came here to WTF hard but what you say makes much sense, O Wise One.

As the sole remaining Relic Knight to be chibified this was hardly surprising. And one would think you'd be pleased that these multiple SDE stretch goals had become an SDE (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) One Shot?

Nice.

I'm wondering if they're gonna announce what the targets are to unlock the Boss level stretch goals. They still haven't posted anything other than the SDE unlock at $630k and it leaves me... thinking. There are a couple of scenarios I can see happening.

1. Hit $630k: SDE One Shot unlocked! Bosses unlocked as purchasable extras!
2. Hit $630k: SDE One Shot unlocked! Boss(es) revealed with stretch goals required for unlocks! Boss1 at $650k. Boss2 at $670k. Free!
3. Hit $630k: SDE One Shot unlocked! Boss stretch goal requirements revealed! Purchasable extras once unlocked!
4: Hit $630k: SDE One Shot unlocked! Boss stretch goal requirements revealed along with even more stretch goals!

And more!

I will be letting my "Pledge" ride.

To be polite, and because I am quite frankly tired of the B.S. attached to this one, I am less then impressed with the project and the attitude of the company.

It is easily going to net me fifty or sixty bucks per faction on the low end, so I am cool with that, but the thing could have been better if they would have been taken it a little more seriously. Instead, now Sodapop is quite happy to let the rabid comment monkeys take over communication for them.

I was a fan in the beginning, then as thier rabid catgirl fanbois took over thier project and distracted the communications, I have lost my patience on getting anything other then the base stuff from them.

I was interested in the full set of the SDE guys, the game and the extras- now? I'm even losing patience for even the project as a whole, based on the prissy attitude of thier "Fans", and the creators.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

This is kinda becoming a textbook case on how to not run a kickstarter..

P.S. We were kidding about One Shot being the last stretch.

Ever thought putting THAT on the emails you send? everybody relying on the emails and does not load the pictures thinks this is OVER.

Also WHY change one shot SD? this is not one shot its some lame ranger with nothing iconic of one shot.

I hope this illustrates my point, if you want to make a super deformed cute version of an iconic character keep everything that makes it iconic, for me this is not one shot.

none of her key features has been kept they "medievalified" her to fit SDE, this is a pure SDE mini riding the relic knights kickstarter and not one shot.
