Well, I'll need those Hell's Belles, PACER and gaming mat for this one to be considered 'complete'.

References to a 'phase 2' shipping are odd, because as far as I can tell, there isn't a phase 2.

The only things left to ship for me are the missing stuff listed above!

EDIT:

I think I'm also going to have to make sure I received all the base inserts I was due as well...

And now that I think of it, are they going to sell these inserts separately too?

They're rather nice...

Not that I've seen, but I haven't had a problem assembling anything.

So far the Cersi Wrecker has been the 'most complicated,' but it was still a fairly easy build.

I had trouble identifying where like, 2 pieces went, but figured it out pretty quickly.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Okay, so finally some more photos.

I have about 40 more in my phone, and I'll upload more later.

Apologies for not reorienting them.

Doctrine Academy Guard-

Really nice looking models, really easy to assemble. Definitely remind me a cross between a dementor and the Crystal beings from the end of the Dark Crystal.

Shattered Sword Francis Mallory

One of my favorite models. He was really easy to clean up with minimal mould lines.

Size Comparison #1 (Francis Mallory, Black Diamond Troop Dude, Doctrine Novitiate)

Mallory is a little off here because he's skewed in perspective due to the cape. He's actually a touch smaller than Black Diamond dude, and is a bit thinner. Here you can also see how the exaggerated features of the Doctrine models really make them stand apart.

Scale Comparison #2 (SS Purifier, Penny Arcade Model, SS Isabeau Durand, Doctrine Fiametta "the giant")

As you can see, Fiametta is friggin huge. Just huge. The Penny Arcade bro is actually a bit larger, too.

I'll have a few more scale shots up later with the Shattered Sword stuff next to the Cersi Pit crew and Rin Farah.

I'll also have some photos of the Relic Knight models. As a preview: Candy and Cola is really disappointing, Kisa looks really nice, and Sebastian Cross is friggin awesome.

cincy - PM incoming!

Also - thank you very much for the pics!

So far I've been pleasantly surprised by the Relic Knights models.

We'll see how well they do with customer service on missing parts, etc.

EDIT!

Was just checking all my stuff out - just because, and I may have missed this but, not only am I missing one of the Cerci Speed Circuit PACER robots, the one box I did get?

It was empty!

So, I got NO PACER robots!

Is there an e-mail to contact them about on this?

Anyone got any photos of the mats in the wild? it seems absent from most unboxing I've seen.

Same thing here - most of the minis arrived, no mat, and no tracking info for that 'second' package (tube) with the mat.

I don't think I've seen any 'in the wild' pics of the mats either...

You got yours already?

Did it arrive at the same time, or later?

And did you receive a separate tracking number/e-mail notification for it?

It arrived at the same time as the rest of it. I think I ordered two, but I've only received one. I'll admit though, I havent taken the stuff out of the tub to check.

I did not receive a seperate tracking number for the map.

No mat for me yet. I only got one shipping notice too, although 2 copies of it.

Which should worry me, it now occurs to me.

Thanks a lot in really curious to see what the backing is like. After all being an EU backer it will take roughly the same amount of time to pack our orders in china as it takes the slow boat to get from china to the EU ;-)

By the by, yesterday Ross from Soda Pop got back to me about my missing model. Sent me a list of things he would need for me and warned me it would take a little bit due to all the craziness shipping out. He replied to me today to thank me for sending him the info and to ask if there was anything else I needed help with. (I asked about the mat since he brought up things.)

Over all a very nice interaction! Kudos to SPM for being much nicer and more helpful (and faster in turn around) than other companies I have dealt with in the past.

OH-I Wanna get out of here

I just REALLY want my order to show up. I've got a masochistic need to put them all together, and I'm starting to run out of room for all supplies I've been gathering. The spare band-aids I've been stockpiling are coming off the shelves, the type O+ blood packs are taking up the whole fridge, and keeping this surgeon on retainer is just getting pricey. I just want to do this thing!

Honestly, I had almost totally forgot about this until Adepticon, and then again until they started showing up. Now I'm excited again. Still no tracking number though, which makes me sad.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to Relic Knights but there wasn't a real sense of anticipation. Delays didn't help my enthusiasm much either. But now that it's actually shipping I'm quite anxious to see the models in person after their less than stellar debut online.

Rain.

First glance of the face, some are good (bigger faces in particular) others are non existent and some feel more like from a family guy or Garfield comic than anime.

The Noh came out the best of the 3.

The knee pads for the black diamond units looks god awful ugly as sin dead dog $hit. This has more to do with sculpt than the material.

Detail on the tank came out as soft as the detail on some of the sedwars minis and bases. But still like the overall design outside of the blank detail on the inside. Wonder if there is something that can be done? Textured styrene sheet to make it look armored on the inside?

Noh- is good

Corsairs- mixed

Black Diamond - Dead dog $hit.

Overall - not impressed when I have handled minis from other companies but after experiencing SedWars, I am numb to the expectations of what I have received.

I'm going to give them an x-acto knife test then probably chuck them on ebay.

Best mini out of all of them was the kitty.

He is going to be my new Computer Table guard protecting my PC from malware. Sorry gengar mini.

The card, box, tokens etc. quality if pretty damn good. Everything produced for components from sedwars was just cheap. The box was crap, cards were made of cheap paper in comparison, strain tokens were cheap thin plastic. The whole thing felt like it was designed to be sold at a dollar store.

Bravo to Soda Pop for caring about the little things and appearance.

Sorry to keep begging the question, but has anyone counted their base inserts? If everyone received the same amount, it would be obvious that they just insert a specific number instead of having a base insert for each mini. I ended up short an 80mm and a couple 50mm.

50 30mm
16 40mm
16 50mm
4 80mm

I also noticed I've posted 25mm when I meant 30mm before... But oh well. I received the above in 9 seperate baggies. 5 baggies of 10 30mm, and 4 baggies of a mix.

Coincidentally, those 30mm inserts are almost exactly 25mm. They're gonna find themselves under a few infinity figs for me.

Also, sinful, if you need extras lemme know. I won't be using a lot of mine.

I know plenty of people don't like Sedition Wars, but that just isn't true.

The strain tokens are in 3mm embossed plastic. They're nice.

The tiles and counters are 3mm thick, pretty standard for any FFG level production game.

The cards seem to have a little less "snap" to them but they're hardly "cheap paper".

And the box used a more expensive matte finishing than a lot of games use.

Additionally, if you like any of the Relic Knights models you're simply being disingenuous if you claim the sedition wars models were that much worse. Here's the proof:

Detail and mould lines are pretty similar. To my untrained eye in person, the Samaritan actually has crisper detail. But I'm an amateur.

Did Sediton Wars have problems? Yep. Did people expect "more" from Mike McVey? Yep. But IMO it's a bit of revisionist history based on lesser expectations to be happy with some of the RK models while despising the Sedition Wars ones.

IMO, of course.

Comments section on the RK KS page has been updated with some shipping information.............

Creator CoolMiniOrNot about 19 hours ago
Hey guys, here's where we currently are as far as fulfillment:

In the US we're still packing and shipping orders every day, both for the US and for RoW. We're still sending out tracking numbers as things get packed, and we'll let everyone know once we finish packing.

We've heard from the factory in China, and the latest word is that they're still making progress packing orders for APAC and EU. Once all the EU orders are completed, they'll be airshipped in bulk to the EU distributor, and then sent out from there. APAC orders will be going out once the packages have departed for the EU. We'll keep you up to date as we receive definite information on the shipments for each region, but the plan is still the same as what we last posted.

Almost every order for this Kickstarter is unique, and every single order is composed of a lot of individual boxes. We're working to make sure everything is packed as soon as possible, but because packing the orders is complex it will take some time. We appreciate everyone's patience as we continue shipping.

-Katherine

Personally, I don't mind waiting longer. Were I get hacked off is if this is available to retail before all KS pledgers recieve their packages and any problems with those packages are solved. RK will hit retail on the 15th July...........

A bit of everything really....... Titanicus, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Black Seas, Blood Red Skies, Kingdom Death, Relic Knights, DUST Tactics, Zombicide the lit goes on.............

The "Saviour of the Universe" contents guide specifically lists "Omni Bases - scenic base inserts for every model!". Depending on interpretation, that may not apply to add-ons outside of the base "Saviour" pledge, but that would be exceedingly gakky of them.

Bioptic - I've got the feeling you've nailed it there...

The 'optional' and/or 'extra' models may not 'qualify' for inserts, based on that.

I personally did not get enough inserts to cover the basic Savior stuff. Which is why I keep asking people to see how many they received.

I backed at the GCEA level- that should be at least six 80mm base inserts: one for each relic knight. I received four. I want to know if they're just sending out a specific number of inserts, or if there is any variance.

Has anybody else received a Doctrine starter? Mine has the wrong sized base for the Librarian. It is also printed as having the wrong base on the back of the box. I received and it is listed in box contents a 40mm base but the book says the librarian should be on a 50 mm base.
