Playful rivalry aside, I have a question to ask you all.

How do you think we might spread word further? I've messaged a large chunk of the forums and the Kind dakka admins put the thread on the first page for a day.

Yet I feel there must be more we can do yes? If you have an idea please post it up.

Every person who joins our event helps make it that much more exciting, that much more memorable and that much more inclusive of an outstanding community!

What about posting on the most populous wargaming facebook accounts? Miniwargaming etc.

I am looking for volunteers to venture out into the dangerous and exotic realm of "S O C I A L M E D I A" to help spread the word amongst many sites.

If you use "The facebook" "The twitter" or similar outlets and are interested in throwing your hat into the ring shoot me a PM and we can coordinate.

They should somehow tie in this campaign (or even a future campaign) with the promotional they're doing with minniwargamming and the like. Not sure how it'd work, but if prizes were involved, it'd be pretty epic.

While I agree that would be neat, I do think it would entail a massive amount of additional work on admins side of things.

Yak mentioned something along these lines when I inquired about helping to spread the word about the event.

Certainly not against it but i bet the event going on now is going to keep their plates full for awhile.

Maybe see if you can get hold of some hobby shops or other nerd centrals in your towns and see if you can post up fliers about the campaign. I'm sure that would help attract the kinds of people we are looking for.

I've held off doing that because I felt that you would be deluged in all the fanfiction that would then be pouring your way, but if you want to open those floodgates I am more than willing to send in my as well as several of my friends' fluff built around their army...

I think that would add an extra bit of fun to the campaign

Background fluff for armies, batrep fluff is fine too but dont be surprised if we tweak it for the narrative.
