Indeed. I was never a fan of the Defiance models, these look far more detailed, better quality and more easy to convert as well!

Seriously impressed with this, especially as I can't see the slightest loss of quality in their conversion to plastic.

The casts are looking great. Nice work, both you and Ghost Studios.

While I know it won't be at least until after you've done that first alien race, have you considered making the next human faction predominantly female, to go with the predominantly male Eisenkern?

Wow...wanted to say something about how the butt looked, but couldn't find a way that woyldnt get me banned from here. Needless to say very impressed with the models coming out. Reading the night lords books by adb, and wondering how these would look in midnight clad.

Yep I think there's definitely some stormtroopers in my future. Once I get my 40k armies done I'll do a proper Eisenkern force with a mix of light and heavy infantry... and plenty of heavy fire power from my Crusaders.

My will to resist making these stormtroopers my IG is weakening. They are just shiny! I was waiting for Defiance to put out their female marines, but I think this, with some Black Widows, is just going to be perfect for me...

Those details are so sharp, it is amazing.

The transition to plastic from digital sculpt looks absolutely flawless to me. I love them!

And I am set to get 60 plus the heavy weapons. Woot! Troopers to shoot my upcoming trollforged aliens

High quality materials, hyper high quality sculpts, reasonable costs. I know a certain wargaming company that's not getting money from me any more so I can give it all to DFG instead.

I also am planning to send as much money as I can Mark's way, especially when the Mortis 15mm becomes available... somehow.

With the quality and price I'm paying for these at the moment, even including the inevitable rise when they go retail and the shipping costs, I will still get more of these.

I now wish I'd had the money to pledge for even more than I did. Another 40 troops, a Mortis, some more leviathan weapons, 4 more APCs, command squad, specialists, and another unit of black widows to use for conversion and I'd have been set. Still, either ordering direct, or from a UK distributor if Mark gets one, I'll get them some time next year.

And if those pictures are not top quality, what must those sprues REALLY look like!

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Given the history between WGF and DG, I imagine there's a Cheshire Cat-sized smile in China right now because I suspect outside of hardcore DG fans you're right (barring huge price difference at retail). I still can't get over how good those sprue pics look, and I knew what Mark had gotten done in metal.

This bodes well for the whole project, and I can't wait to see more of the Phase 1 stuff (as if I wasn't already chomping on the bit to get these models...)

WOW, those are great. Assuming that the other troops, Leviathans, APC, etc come out just as crisp and clean Dreamforge may set the new standard for plastic gaming minis.

Well we already know that the Leviathans are going to be good from a previous update, and I see no reason to doubt the quality of the later items, the specialist troops like the Widows, and the APCs.

So I'd say the bar has been well and truly raised!

Agreed! Only uncertainty for later items are things like the skirting on the models. But these armored troops came out more perfect than I thought possible.
