I'm really interested in all the fluff of daemons and the way they are written in books, but is there a book that focuses on daemons as the main topic? It has to be a book where they aren't getting completely killed, which i think happens in every book i have seen. Maybe a book written from the perspective of the daemons like the little story about the battle in the codex. Any suggestions?

Sadly, most books that center on Chaos are focused on Chaos Space Marines, or Traitor Guard/Renegades etc. I cannot remember which on off the top of my head, but one of the Grey Knight books takes place almost entirely on a Demon World thats almost entirely in the Warp and you see alot of different demons. That is problably your best bet for a demon book. Otherwise, a book with demons as the main focus is going to be impossible to find.

I assume that you speak of 40k daemons.
Try to get the OOP "Liber Chaotica" for all your needs. Is the main source of fluff for Daemons. Will be expensive though.

It doesn't. Sorry.

In the now OOP "planetkill" anthology there was a tale called " Seven Views on Ulhguth's Passing " which comes close to what you're after.

Other than that..hhm.... there's very little written from the/a demon POV.

When I found out about the liber chaotica I was so excited, it was just what I was after. My excitement was matched only by my dissapointment at finding out it is no longer in print.

The Grey Knight Novel "The Hammer of Deamons" takes place in a deamon world and even has some chapters that are deamon specific.

The OOP BL novel "Fire Warrior" features a poor daemon trying to corrupt one Tau Fire Warrior, with POV chapters.

There's an old BL book "Daemon World", it takes place entirely on a Daemon World from the perspective of a resident there (albeit a human chaos barbarian). Has lots and lots of Daemon interaction, talking Daemons, Daemon politics, and so on.

Though it does have a lot of CSM in there as well. The main "bad guy" is a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh with 800 Violator CSM as his enforcers.

"Architect of Fate" does have some great insight into Chaos Daemons in 40K. Not all are from their perspective but there are good sections that glimps into the thought processes of Daemons. Four Novellas in the book. They all have good vibes to them and flow very differently. Kind of cool out of the norm reads for 40K. Well I thought good reads.
