I think we're seeing some steady improvement here. Love the yellow on your later boys. Keep up the good work!

Loving those Bad Moons. I think showing them as a group shot makes them look even better. The closeups are showing the model at about 3x normal size, so things I wouldn't even notice on the tabletop look glaring and obvious. Your yellow has gotten even better, and the little conversions and touches really make the mob look great, and draw the eye from model to model.

Have you tried the new Citadel "Blood for the Blood God" paint yet? I've heard good things about it, and it might be a bit less work for you.

I agree about the blood. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Could be I should start with just blood red, then hit it witha blood red and black mix... Tips appreciated :-)

Or go for the Blood For The Blood God paint, check out my Black Templars on my blog vv or in my gallery <<

It's what I use and I think it works pretty great ^_^

Dakka is the ork word for shooting, but the ork concept of shooting is saturation fire. Just as there is no such thing as a "miss" in a target-rich environment, there is no such thing as a "dodge" in a bullet rich one

Nice orks, very good work. Really like the Kuztom (Is that how da boyz say it? Sorry for my horrible Ork speak.) force field Ork.

Camera is not cooperating, So pictures are so so.
But Finally got 12 Wild Boyz and their unfortunate handler, Boss Steelface. Who is decked out to look intimidating enough to assert dominance over the savage rabble.

I love the character you've put into these models. Dudes like "Dee Jay Dakkadakka" and "Boss Steelface"! The effects are cool too though I am a bit worried you tend to go overboard, some of these boyz are just covered in blood. Don't get me wrong, your blood effect looks awesome, but you've got so much of it.

The way I see it, every ork should aspire to be just covered in blood. Its not that hard a thing to happen to an ork.

I love these.

Especially the guy on the singe tread. That whole idea is something only an Ork could come up with. I can imagine him going forward real fast shouting all the while.
But then he completely fails at steering (because there is no way to) and falls over with this enormously heavy tread grafted to his upper body (and he was real proud of it too when they put it on him) and can never get back up.

The idea is wonderful. Can I see him up close?

Inspired by a picture in one of the White Dwarf Vision,
I made 2 Grot planes. I plan to play them as Deffkoptas.
The first was so so, with TL bigshootas.
Nr 2 i feel was better and has TL rokkits. Nr 2 got painted

these orks are awesome!

I love the grot plane, it reminds me of a conversion I still havent got round to! Same model idea, but with one very large bomb (bigger than the plane) strapped to the bottom to count as a blitz bomma!

I do however think the grot plane would look even better with a little more chipping work done. a little sponge with some black and silver and it would really add the final touch.

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.

Excellent work. These Orks look great. Lots of individuality throughout the mobs. Your painting has gotten really good, in my opinion, especially the Flash Gitz. The grot plane is a cool idea since the AOBR Deffkoptas are getting expensive on eBay. Nice conversion!

Keep 'em coming!

Nice horde!

First let me say I really love your skin tone on these guys.

You seem to put a lot into each model, which is great. I love the blood effects, although on the feral orks, it would be cool to have some of them splattered a little.

Nice progress on your stompa, I am still neglecti-- I mean working on mine. You look like yours is almost complete.

My personal favorites on this thread have to be the feral orks. So much waaaagh!

I love orks with warpaint. Keep up the great work! Subbed!

It's all looking good. I think with all the blood on the feral orks weapons they should have some blood spattered on their bodies too!
