Has anyone seen one of these played in 6E? I'm tinkering with a wraithwing and I have a game scheduled with a friend of mine who, I know, will be playing space wolves with three units of long fangs. I just don't see me hiding 18 really huge models behind LOS blocking terrain until I get within striking distance. The rest of my list consists of three units of warriors, a couple of lords with orbs, a unit of immortals, Imotek and a GA.

Also, I brought a necron list with 10 wraiths to a 1500 tournament. You can check that out here:

The thing about wraiths is their 3+ invulns and two wounds make them tanky. You dont need to hide behind terrain, they will most likely make it into assault without too much trouble.

Bedouin Dynasty: 10000 pts
The Silver Lances: 4000 pts
The Custodes Winter Watch 4000 pts

Yeah, you would think that. Unless you've got 15 krak missiles being fired at you per turn which will double you out - that 3+ only helps so much especially the way I roll

Fair, so give them a more immediate threat?
I've used Lychguard and Obyron to the face to distract them from my wraiths

I find battle cannons work as a viable anti-wraith spray.

Battle Cannon wraith motel. Wraiths check in, but they don't check out.

I tend to run mine as max squads with whip coils on every one of them, and usually a destroyer lord for even more death and mayhem. In my opinion they are one of the best assault units in 'any' codex to date for their point cost, let alone in the necron one.

15 Krak Missiles kill 2.77 Wraiths on average a turn. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to close on those Long Fangs with something in your second turn.
