I have finally finished my Warhound Titan projet. The model is wired with LED lights in both barrels of the Turbo Laser Cannon, the head lights, the intrument pannel inside the cokpit lights up and the cooling unit as well. The entire model is scracth-built mostly made from cardstock (old comic-book backing boards), plasticard, and gator-board, with a bunch of brass & plastic rods, a variety of old bits and junk, and five or six full tubes of superglue, and a ton of old toys picked up at swap-meets and flea-markets.

Wow, that's excellent. Amazing scratch build.
Can you put a layer of clear green or red paint over the console lights though? Console lights aren't white because the glare makes it hard to adjust to the view outside the cockpit, especially at night.

Wicked job... I was actually asking myself if that was a Forgeworld model when the first pics were loading up!

Funny you mentioned that, I have been keeping an eye out for some red gels to lay over the console, I don't want to do anything that I can't change back if it doesn't wind up looking as good (when it comes to me and all things giant-robot-related aesthetics will always beat out realism).

...and thank you everybody for all the kind words! I have put quite a few hours into this over the past couple of months, it has been a lot of fun, and a learning experience. I have done a lot of converting and modeling in the past, but this is my first scratch-build. If I ever make another one I will do a lot of things differently... and hopefully make fewer mistakes!

That's great! I can't believe you used cardboard and not plasti-card, but it looks great. The legs I think are much better looking than the forge world ones somehow. Very nimble and deadly looking

Very nice. I quite like the lighter armour, it makes it look very agile, and gives the pose a lot of life.

And yes, those are gundam parts in there.

Warhound's always been my favourite Titan. You've sure done them justice with this - it's truly fabulous work. The lights are just the icing on a very delicious cake.

Yessir, Good eye! There a quite a few Gundam (and a few Star Wars, and other random) bits and bobs used for this model. Basically any old or broken sci-fi or military toy or model I could pick up at a flea-market, swap-meet, or yard sale for $5 or less became a part of this project. All said and done I think I spent about $40 on everything, including all the old toys, the LEDs, batteries, plasticard and about 6-10 tubes of superglue.

Here are a couple "in-progress" shots from before the model was primed, so you can see some of the bits used.

And one pic of it post-prime but before paint, as you can see, I re-worked both the head and feet, before finally painting it.

I approve of this Titan. But, I feel that the turbo lasers are a tad thin to be a Titan-grade weapon. Just a thought.

This is 10 kinds of awesome. No criticism on the model. My only comment is that I would like to see a Space Marine, Ork or whatever next to it so that we can get a feel for how well it towers above the battlefield.

That's fantastic!!!! Love the pose man, and the hasing os phenomenal. I always thought Titans and gargantuan creatures should be on bases like yours instead of huge squares that make it hard to maneuver.
