Between the stretch goals, the unpronounceable model names, and the general layout of the kickstarter, I found making a pledge more than a little complicated...

Has anybody gotten their email yet? I wish I knew about the whole Maelstrom/Mierce thing before I dropped 80 pounds...

If you mean KS funded email (& the your CC has been charged email) yes I've had them

If you mean the survey/pledge manager, no as this will not go live till Mierce gets access to our email details and KS money which will take at least 2 weeks (probably 3). They hoped to get it up and running by/uring the first week of March

At this present moment in time I'm going through my GW stuff seeing what can go on ebay to boost more funds for this and God Slayer. I'm finally coming to the conclusion that my 27 years of buying GW is coming to an end.

Doubt you'll be alone. Between this and Dark Knight minis GW wont be seeing any of my money for a while. Still its their own fault......Maybe if they released something that wasn't total

Seriously, compare the Ysians and the Forsaken and tell me that Citadel still make the finest models.

It's a shame we didnt reach 125k, the 2 free minis at that goal would have turned an extraordinary deal into something exceptional.

Can backers increase their pledge to take advantage of the reduced prices now that the funding deadline has passed? If so, what;s the time allowance on increase?

As much as you want and if the add ons go above 125k they will give the 125k goal.

It seems well get a pledge manager for a short time, maybe a week or two if we're lucky, after KS hands over the email addresses/money. They'll want to get it sorted fast as they have to start shipping in April

KS will take 2-3 weeks to do this so Im guessing it will start some time in the first week in March

As Mahrdol said above Mierce have said that any money added in the pledge manager WILL count towards the stretch goals so we have a small chance of getting the £125K stretch goal anyway (so spend lots!)

Hello! I have pledged £76 for "Hoof and Claw Faster" but my Mierce account has £80 and the only starters available in the kickstarter section are the standard £80 sets. Is this an oversight? Or maybe do I get £80 credit for a £76 charge to my card?

They didn't add seperate early bird starter sets to the store, so they credited early bird pledgers £4 or £5 to make up for it.

i appear to have my pledge manager link (although i've not looked at it yet)

Can i add additional pledges at this stage even though the KS has ended (Ie get an additional Hoof and Claw and get the Stretch goals even although it wasnt in my original pledge?)

The KS manager just gets you to enter your mailing address.
They are basically crediting everyone their pledge amount on a Kickstarter section of the Mierce online store, so you can add as much as you like there. You should have received a separate email telling you how to log in to that.
They don't take PayPal though, which is a pain in the butt for me personally.

I'm pretty sure the no paypal thing is because of all the chargebacks around the death of Maelstrom

(wouldn't suprise me if they or any other Rob Lane company are blacklisted by Paypal until any outstanding debt is paid)

@diabolical. If they payment goes direct to mierce yes you will be covered, if it goes via kickstarter/amazon then no you will not likely be covered.

Job Done! Order in - very excited - though I may need to store this stuff away while I finish my sedition wars miniatures.

I went for Angelcynn and the Dyndraig in the end - what did other people go for?

The kickstarter told me to add 7GBP to my pledge to cover shipping, and now the shipping's free. I guess there's not way to redeem that extra 7 bucks for cash, is there...

Angelcynn and Norse here - Agonised for ages between Norse and Brythonaid, but went for Norse in the end.

Are you sure shipping is now free? I haven't read this anywhere, in fact one of the latest mails is asking for people to add more for shipping.

I chose Tarvax, debating whether to add the giant boar guy or Mjagnir. Also tempted by the lumbering shaggy beast and the rhino man unit champion but they won't be ready for a while so probably wont add those.

There is something about shipping on the latest updates - 23 and 25 cover shipping issues

They deducted the shipping cost from your pledge as the shipping is 'free' on the pledge manager website.

From the look of the Tarvax we can probably expect all the new Tarvax minis to be virtually identical to the concepts shown, this makes me happy.

Seems like they've also processed the kickstarter orders so if you pledged and specified your stuff it should be "Processing" now.

Im quite shocked at how well some of the other models and particularly that Tarvax, look almost exactly the same as the concept art.
Lets hope the trend continues.
Processing here too !

Yeah seems like they've brought together some of the top guys from a number of different outfits.

I've loved / hated / been indifferent to GW in equal measure at various points over the years but one thing I always held true was that they made the best looking minis across a very broad range, and consistently (couple of exceptions, Rackham, Iilyad, etc, but these weren't as big and didn't have the same rich depth imo). Over the past few years this is evidently no longer the case for me, competitors like Mierce (Bane) have taken the crown and GW's output is more likely miss than hit. Not an original thought and I don't want to pollute this thread with same old rehashed negativity towards GW, just thought it was relevant to this - first time I've spent triple figures on minis in who knows how long.

/actually, looking more objectively, it's the Tarvax that I really love. Still, Mierce doing good so far, I hope they can maintain.

Totally agree. The only daemon model from the new release I like Is the herald and the plague drones.

No one can deny the quality-sculptors Mierce use for their miniatures. JAG, Allan Carrasco, Stephane Simon, Thomas David, Benoit Cosse, Robert Chaudon, Juan Navarro Perez, Valentin Zak, Daniel Cockersell, Sebastian Archer, etc. etc. These guys are among the absolutely best there are currently.

Hopefully you guys will keep doing more stuff like the Kadamastar kit and the dragon/lizard/snakeman stuff! Been saving up to put in a big order of that stuff
