Poll
Can an Epidemius-Nurgle marine build handle the meched-up Grey Knights?
Yes, the list is balanced enough to easily handle rhinos. Chaos will crush the knights.
Chaos will struggle, but those heldrakes will be enough to give them the win....barely.
Strength 5 stormbolters vs Toughness 5 marines = Draw or undecided.
The obliterators and heldrakes will make it close, but the knights shall prevail in the end.
The grey knights will have no problems with Chaos. Their firepower is just too great.

I believe you can still cast maledictions in CC cant you? The second power is all win against enemies when you are in CC

More bike! Bikes are very good now that they arre so cheap! Plus you can run them with MoN and they are fiendishly hard to take down even for units with power weapons. Termies are bloody good too.

Yeah, I will bring bikes next time.

They fill my need for a shooty Nurgle unit with mobility. The only problem is that I need to proxy them for now.

I'm finding it hard to try to fit some terminators into my army. Between the oblits, the stacked FA slots and at least 4 troop choices, there's not much room left at 2K to fit in the terminators.

Honestly, I forgot. However, I think it turned out better this way. Cast it while in combat and you make it easier for the zombies to kill the knights. Their kills don't add to the Tally. Typhus' kills do, and he can do it quite easily without the need for his power.

Actually I would be more interested to see what you can pull off with 1500 points as I am seeing more and more local tournies and hearing that some bigger ones will make the switch to 1500 because of time issues :/

I've ran my Epidemius-build at 1.5K and honestly, it just doesn't work as well. This is what I ran at 1.5K:

Typhus
Epidemius

29x Zombie Cultists
10x CSM - 2x Meltas, MoN
10x CSM - 2x Plasmas, MoN
5x Plaguebearers

5x Chaos Spawn - MoN
Heldrake

3x Oblits - MoN, Veterans

I played against IG and Necrons, both casual players with mediocre lists. I won both, but my list was somewhat lacking in both shooting and mobility. However, in both games, the heldrake and oblits were a monster.

The Epidemius list doesn't really scale well at lower points games. I think the sweet spot is around 2K, with the minimum for a functional Epidemius build to be 1750. At 1500, my recommendation is to ditch him completely or ditch Typhus and go for a cheaper HQ.

Pulsating Possessed Chaos Marine

Burgle is still the best csm list. I would drop the obis for 3 squads of auto cannon havic, take 1 hell drake and max chaos spawn. With tw leftover points aegis quad with plague bearers. Blob squad wise I say max 1 unit and spam plague marines in rhinos with havoc launchers drop typhus for a prince. If you have the points throw in some chosen support style burgle. DO NOT DROP EPIDEMIUS and **** autocorrect!

Chaos daemons 1850
Chaos Marines 1850
2250+

2500++ (Wraithwing)

I moved so starting from scratch. These were the armies I had, rebuilding my Chaos.

I will go back to the havocs, but right now, I am loving the oblits too much. They're just so versatile now and probably more resilient as well. Anyways, I will probably go back to havocs as my 3rd Heavy choice after 2 units of oblits.

I've been using the chaos spawn as well, and until I get some chaos bikers, will probably continue to use them. Eventually, I am looking to run 1 heldrake, 1 spawn and 1 biker units.

As for plagues, I keep on alternating between plagues and Nurgle CSM. They're both good. Having a hard time finalizing which one I want on my final list. Maybe both? We shall see.
