I agree with this 100%
I loved the Mortifactors after reading them in the Ultramarines omnibus. So dark and mysterious and the way they go about battle, so awesome

Astral Knights. They sacrificed their entire chapter to destroy the Necron planet destroyer World Engine.
The Ultramarines retrieved the Knights' Battle Barge, Tempestus, which was used to ram and destroy the World Engine and placed it on the lifeless world of Safehold, the World Engine's last victim. Captain Donatos Aphael of the Blood Angels 2nd Company called for 772 statues--one for each Astral Knight--to be raised on Safehold alongside the wreckage of the Tempestus as a monument to the fallen chapter. From that day on, two Blood Angels of the 2nd Company and dozens of other Space Marines stand guard over the memorial at all times, which is considered a singular honor for the Marines who fought alongside the Astral Knights for the last time.

Minotaurs.
They are the best parts of the several First Founding Legions, lumped into one.
-Terra's Personal Strike-force (Space Wolves)
-Best Equipment, and lots of it (Salamanders)
-They love dat close combat (Blood Angels)
Plus, they almost always operate in full chapter-strength, and beat the piss out of an Ultramarines Successor chapter.

Angels Sanguine. Their red/black scheme looks fantastic, their background (noble heroes with the dark flaw) is also super-cool, along with the secrets hidden in their fortress monastery. Their like the Dark Angels but with more Blood. Also their Chapter Master Sentikan is a badass. When one of his brothers falls and a Blood Angel goes to remove the his helmet Sentikan leaps over and threatens to kill anyone who tries to remove the fallen Angel Sanguine's helmet. Ruthless.

Not only their chapter Master saw the Emperor in person numerous times (Big E needed a decent worthy bridge partner), but he fields test experimental Ad Mech. devices, always on loan to other Adeptus (in small groups), secret HQ, and the Elite Cadre are basically the Delta Force of the NAVY SEAL of the Adeptus Astartes.

I'm suprised that no one mentioned the Iron Snakes. Maybe they aren't obscure enough?! Fight like Delian warriors from ancient Greece, use a quasi-phalanx weapon load out, mimic the best of Corinth and Sparta... operate as legendary super tactical squads, and I think that they have a solid look to them.
