That looks like the most unwieldly constume ever. Although judging by the hight of it he is either actually 7ish foot tall or he is packed the boots with filler material. Its an awesome costume though. 10/10 for sure.
Howard A Treesong wrote: I'm guessing he wears the helmet like a hat and looks out through the neck. But it's an excellent costume, one of the best I've seen.
I can see that. He's steanding a good two to three heads over everyone else, so he's either super tall or using some fancy tricks to make himself appear Sphess Mehrines-like.
I like how he was having slight problems getting through the door.
While I think I'd rather go for a Black Templar get up decked out in purity symbols and all that good stuff, that outfit is still really cool. Plain, but cool.
“Sometimes I can hear my bones straining under the weight of all the lives I'm not living.”
IVe seen that type of costume made before. They have a little platform they stand on in the feet. And the hands are an extension out infront of their normal hands. So his head is actually IN the helmet, youll notice how odd he walks at times and when he waves his hand in that one part, the hand itself doesnt move, it kindda just goes with it.
Pretty badass all around though, I love good cosplay, and I REALLY love awesome cosplay

I scratchbuilt this Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Blood Angel Tactical Sergeant, 7th company, 9th squad, costume as a fan.
It was first shown at The Scandinavian Sci-fi, Game & Film Convention 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden.
About 300 hours in making, spread over 4 months. The current weight is 27,5 kg.
Hight: About 215 cm/7' (I am about 183 cm/6' without armour). (To be able to move around easier and be able to use my own hands, the size is a compromize between proper SM size and a normal human.)
Method: Pepakura (foam+hot glue) and some modifications to make it look more like the miniatures. And some aliminum rods, and screws and electronics. I used 935 as scale on the pepakura files. Pepakura files here: http://z6.invisionfree.com/Obscurus_Crusade/index.php?showtopic=823 Paint: Red/black is regular indoor wall paint. Silver is spray paint ontop of grey wall paint. Plasti-Dip rubber coating sprayed on some surfaces so the color does not stick too itself and tear of when two peices of armor are pressed together.
Cost of materials: At the present about 1800€.
Getting dressed takes about 15 minutes, and requires a servitor.
No comissions.
(And about the bathroom questions som many ask, it is just like driving a car. You step out for that.)
You Sir - have done an amazing job all round. That is awesome.

Frazzled[Mod] On Rule #1- No it literally means: be polite. If we wanted less work there would be no OT section.
Chowderhead - God no. If I said Pirates Honor, I would have had to kill him whether he won or lost.
I wasn't even talking about Hugh Jackman portraying Wolverine. I just meant Wolverine himself.
