JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.

Ahh Tricksy! 
The furniture and such are experimental techniques for the eventual Hobbit furniture, so Middle Earth is still in mind.
The Cylon kit? It doesn't say how many pieces, but I know there are 17 sprues. I should count them, I'll need it for my review write-up!

Those are supposed to be the BEST Airbrush paints currently on the market. I've not had any to play with, but they look amazing based on the reviews and Vids I've seen.

No, it's a perfect cast, such thin work like the cocked side of the hat and the lapel of his jacket..I had the body blu-tacked to a paint pot, and as I was spraying primer on him, he fell off the blu-tack, into the garbage can, which had a dumped ashtray in it, which I had to fish out and run to the tap to rinse off the ashes and primer that hadn't cured. Once dry..I glued him to a base for painting and primed him by hand Many bad words were uttered.

that i probably allowed to cause a stream of bad words!
i am not dead...yet... i had a rather anoying outcome of the kids carnival... so i was a bit depressed to look into anything hobby related for a few days... more on my thread later on...(as in about two min... )
the cylon is quite menacing

Yeah, I suppose it does, but all good Mobster movies end the same way, it catches up to him and the antihero dies. I finished Mafia II 's story mode last night and it's a cliffhanger. That really bothers me!

It was like playing a movie, the faces, expressions, and mouth movements in the cutscenes were amazing, and the story was excellent too, like a creative kitbash of Goodfellas, Casino, Godfather, A Bronx Tale elements along with some great cars, also generic mixes of real period American cars, and a massive open world, even if the play was linear.

It really isn't sandbox though, there's only one quest at a time, and the story makes you want to hurry to it. You do a lot of car stealing and driving.
It makes me itch for Fallout-style play.

Dave, as a suggestion to scratch your 20's itch, with a sandbox style, might I suggest L.A Noire?
I mean, you play as a cop instead of a mobster, but much of what you do ends up being the same
