Well I had issues while playing fallout ever since...I doubt I would get away with a simple upgrade...besides I am still working with vista...and a new complete overhaul migh come in cheaper all around in the end...of course this is my utter layman's opinion here...

The fallout games are games you just feel betrayed by life if you have to play the game with low graphic settings...

for some reason, I'm really bad at noticing things like graphics- unless I'm shown it side-by-side, I won't notice the difference in HD TV, nor did I notice the 5000p 48fps stuff that the hobbit had, so graphics really don't bother me. 'Tis a gift when it comes to not having a great gaming setup

I spoilt myself with graphics when I pushed my computer to it's limits playing Crysis at very nearly full settings... nothing I've played since has looked as pretty, or at least had the same impact at the time.

we recently went HD TV and i have to say... mindblowing eyesight.... it is the same feeling you get when you get that sudden urge to clean your window panes...and suddenly actually SEE the stuff outside... same with HD graphics or TV...

It DOES make a difference..EXCEPT when you watch an old TV show and everything is pixely We have a local station here caled "Antenna TV" it's all old show re-runs, if you sit too close, it looks like gak.

I can't remember who, but someone was complaining about Bethesda releasing buggy games..not sure what they were talking about, unless they were talking about the console release..which is irrelevant to a PC gamer like myself.
In fact, Electronic Arts is undeniably the buggiest publisher of all times (because they rush the developers), but they are just a corporate mega-giant, also irrelevant.

Well, they have to print it to disc and get it through customs, etc. The pc world has pretty much gone digital download, so they can fix day one bugs quicker. I thought I heard one of the next gen consoles was trying to do that too., go all digital.

i just started to play FO and now after almost half a year of vegas... it is a totally different game really... you need to get used to it again...

Both X-box and Sony have been going for digital download purchase, and online interactive

It amuses me that after all this time of consoles being touted as the hardcore gaming experience and that PC gaming was dead, that consoles are becoming more and more like PCs...

I still prefer to buy solid/real objects, not sold on the buying digital things thing...
