Well you know Chicago isn't playing at 100% right now. I'd say the way they've treated you guys throughout the season shows that.  Automatically Appended Next Post: Zetterberg gets a Short Handed Goal! 2nd of the night! Automatically Appended Next Post: 3-0. I'd say it's safe to see we'll be seeing the postseason once again. Automatically Appended Next Post: 22 consecutive years.

Sens lost Friday or Saturday, and then they played the Bruins yesterday to see where they would end up in the playoffs, either against the Penguins in the first round, or the Canadiens... Looks like we're taking on the 2 seed after an impressive, and full of fighting game against the Bruins.
Whoo! Playoffs! (a word I rarely get to use here in Cleveland  )

Indeed, the Sens fought hard. So every Canadian team in the east made it, while only 1 in the west. Detroits moving into a tough Division next year...

I actually got to watch it too  . I went to a local bar with a buddy, near my house, and they were showing the game. I ended up staying there just to watch the game I'm not sure how far they'll go into the playoffs, but it's certainly been a fun season to say the least.

Can anyone explain to me why Boston is below Washington despite having more points than them in the league, yet they finished above us?

Washington was first in their division. 3 divisions per conferance, first of each one is placed in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This usually does result in "weaker" teams being placed above better teams.

It was instituted to justify the change in schedule a couple years ago which had teams play so many games within the division .(thinly veiled attempt by the owners to save money on travel while depriving fans of seeing all the teams and stars in their own building)
With the schedule changing next year to a more balanced format hopefully that particular rule is removed.

Next year the top 3 teams from each division will automatically make it, and then the remaining two teams from the conference with the highest amount of points.
That could make it so 5 teams from one division make it in, while only 3 from the other, or it could lead to a 4-4 split.

LA just hasn't been playing it seems... Your not going to win play off games if your only getting 15 shots on goal.
This Wild/Hawks game is pissing me off. I'm missing game time right now. I hate when MSNBC does this.

Yea, i know right. That Blackhawks Wild game drove me nuts. How can you not score 4-6 goals on the Wild with a goaltender that has not played in 3 months? Plus the Wild's first goal should not have been, Crawford needs to put his as son the pole and not let it slip through. That goal was pathetic. But the Blackhawks got the win. I also want to see the Redwings beat Anaheim, as then it will be the Redwings/Blackhawks series, which of course the Blackhawks will win in 5. Been a hockey fan for about 15 years.
Until 2006 all of the Blackhawks home games were blacked out in Chicago. We could not watch the Hawks play a home game on TV, it was insane.
