The Hawks game was a perfect example of how awful the officiating has been.
Really bad calls against both teams in that one.
P.S. this Montreal/Ottawa game is insane.
I would have loved to have been there for that game... It was fantastic to watch on TV... I mean I could hear the GoSensGo chants, Habs taking swings and slashes pretty much whenever they could... damn that was a crazy game.

I think the Sharks and the Canuks watched the Sen's/Canadians game and it got them both riled up.

Craig Anderson was busy being a beast
I did think the Sens were in for a rough game after Anderson let that goal through in the first period.
I'm a little worried about what's going to happen when this this gets back to Montreal.
There is bound to be a couple suspensions from this. I'd imagine the next game to be a lot tamer.
I wouldn't doubt it, but I don't see this getting tamer... After the hit on Eller, Montreal players were on the verge of a blind rage after Coach MacLean's comments about the hit (He blamed the incident on MTL player 61, Diaz, who made the bad pass), and then MTL Forward Prust called MacLean a Bug-eyed Fat Old Walrus (apt description for the man). And then with Montreal giving the hurt out on Friday, it was expected that the Sens would play hard at home yesterday. I don't see Tuesday's game being tamer... But if it is... I don't see the next home game (and there will be one) in Montreal being tame... The Habs will be back home, the crowd will be revved up, and everyone is going to want a piece of the action to keep the crowd in the game.
Also, speaking of fighting in hockey, have there ever been goalie fights? or fights between a player and goalie?

And Detroit wins in 3-2. All is right in the world.
Got a standing bet going at work. We've got Blackhawks, Blues, and Detroit fans. If any of our teams gets bumped out in the first round, their buying pizza for everyone. So lets go Kings!

Boo!
I feel asleep in the 3rd period (hey, I was still hung over from my Beale Street Festival trip )
But, daaamn, Kings are starting to look good again.
Can not wait for the Blackhawks to beat the Red Wings once the wings beat the Ducks.

The Blackhawks are one game closer to beating the Wild.
One more game and the Blackhawks will get ready to beat the Redwings (Hopefully the redwings will make it past the ducks).

My god that was an entertaining 90 seconds of hockey there at the end of the third.
Also did you think Chris Neil was trying to get something started? He looked like he was trying to get in the face of some of the Canadians players and get one of them riled up.... I'm thinking he liked Sunday's game .
Also P.K. Subban can be a dirty fething player... Did you see that grab and like... Suplex he did where he got hit, grabbed Alfie or Turris's knee, and then locked his stick under and fell back? Also, does he have something against Turris that I don't know about?
Damn...

Ack! Don't tempt the hockey gods...
Well that worked out ok after all
Ott outscored Mtl 13-0 in 3rd periods and overtimes. That is the largest shutout disparity for the 3rd prd/OT in a single series in Playoff history.
Holy crap!

Kudos to Ottawa for manhandling the Habs. Although I wish the Sens no luck in the playoffs, ever, it was good to see Montreal eat it and at home to boot.
bring on the Redwings! (Or the ducks if they win, but eff them we want the Redwings!).

Those pesky sens man and you take your Sens hate elsewhere .
My favorite part of the night was when they showed the stands, and people were just leaving in droves, that place was almost silent by the end of the game.

Wait... you're expecting the Blues to win?
That's a Tall Order.... wouldn't you be playing the Kings if they win?
Yeah, Duck's won't face Chicago until the Conferance Finals at the earliest.
Right, but the Hawks are not going to lose to the Kings or Blues.
They are playing great Hockey with no sign of stopping.
