Just got a small parcel from WGF with 4 replacement shoulders. Looks like they decided on just sending it out rather than waiting. Still haven't assembled my leviathans so can't really test to see if they're correct or not, but should be safe to assume they are!

Yep, arm armor with the "bicep" swell placed properly for a left arm, that is correct.

Assault Trooper test print

Here are some shots of an Assault Trooper, warts and all. I did not spend much time cleaning up the print because it was not going to be used as a master, just to test fit components such as the shoulders, tasset and tabard.

The Heavy troopers are scaled to be a good match with the Stormtroopers. About 1mm taller than the Stormtroopers (some shrink can be seen in the print), and a bit more bulk overall. Keep in mind when comparing to other mini lines, the Stormtroopers will be on the tall side, so although these may look a little small, they are large enough to look like steal the milk money from many of the other popular mini companies lines and small enough to look like Eisenkern Stormtrooper sized person could actually fit into the suit.

WGF China informed me that they are making progress with the Heavy Troopers so it seemed appropriate to post this. Enjoy!

See this is the sort of thing that helps me get over the pain of knowing I didn't order anywhere near as many APCs as I know I'm going to want. Because I ordered quite a few of the various heavy troopers.

I've been waiting for some news about those guys! Every time I see this thread bumped, I get hopeful that there'll be some shots of the Heavy Trooper prototypes. I'm glad they're finally here. Well worth the wait. I must own those when they come out.

Yeah glad I got two packs of Assault Troopers coming my way. Now I just need to wait patiently for my Black Widows!

Man I really hope Mark swings that discount coupon for backers because I will be picking up a massive pile of plastic.

A box of Valkir, some more assault troopers, more black widows then you can shake a stick at... maybe some APCs because foot slogging sucks...

I am gonna have a hell of a rough n' ready Eisenkern force when the game releases.

Mark - is there a ballpark of when W3 might be coming out? Even a quarter estimate? Q1? Q2? etc?

It looks likea new import tax might be levied on things here in Australia from Q2 onwards, so KS projects that are very late are probably going to start costing us a whole lot of extra money - again!

Well, I dont know about financial trouble, but the last few times I looked to order something from them, I didn't based purely on the fact that there are better discounts (coupled with free shipping) available elsewhere.

continuing the offtopic, TWS is definitely the best place to order Bolt Action from. i got some great BF deals including the "random Bolt Action vehicle for $12" which turned out to be a $32 opel blitz!

Crud.... I still do not have a date that I can give, I wish I did. I know they are working on stage 3 and I know they want it done but we are not far enough through stage 3 for me to get a feel for where this will land.

re. the Australia import duty thing, if it does happen it shouldn't be on everything, rather just a reduction in the threshold for applying it. Currently it's on packages worth over $1K, the change should make it apply on say packages over $100, $500... something like that. Easy fixed by WGF by having agreed upon values of the goods ; p Especially given the nature of the KS process, it should be easy to say that the items are worth less than one might normally think! ; ) Since they'll be shipping from China, that's usually done from companies there for us anyway, so it's not unexpected.

Is it me, or has there been increased import tariffs in the past every time an economic crisis happened and it NEVER HELPED. Slowed down trade, as a matter of fact.

If I wasn't sleep deprived, my economics degree would answer that question. The liberals (actually conservaties) here... are supposedly the economically minded party too, but... I'll avoid turning this into a political statement ; p The big thing that gets me is the huge inefficiencies involved in adding tariffs to the huge quantity of small imported goods. It completely screws the system, making slowdowns and just creating huge amounts of waste. I despise inefficiency something chronic.
