This character can't do jack squat.
It's too bad the one that doesn't do jack squat is the one I always like the most style wise.

You also have to consider the increased price on expansions, and their possible availability.

We have a warehouse in the AU. However small rewards (pinups, promos, etc) will be shipped from our office in the states. We are currently picking and packing those orders now.
So we're each looking at 2-3 packages - core game, which is going to local warehouses, small rewards for extras and pinups, and then expansions at a later date.
*sigh* there's a tiny voice in my head wailing "is it here yet is it here yet is it here yet"

That quote + the overall themes + the rules will be enjoyable and fun but far from the "simplification and standardization" that some people want/need means that this game was probably destined to remain is some sort of 'Boutique' category.
But that's probably OK and it will still probably sell really well too.

I have been looking at KD:M as a boutique game for the past couple years, although I do believe that the game "got away" from Adam during the development, and I do believe the game would have been better with a product manager / editor to winnow things down. But none of that matters, because the game is what it is, and it's on the boat. I'm looking forward to finally receiving KD:M.

Aaaand we're off. Emails have started going out for the first round of shipping. Sadly just some extras like the White Speaker and Messengers rather than the actual game... but it is a start!
May our US colleagues take many many photos to show us what we are waiting for (I'm sure the US is going to go first to make sure everything is running smoothly as its a lot cheaper to fix mistakes for them)
They seem to be shipping smallest orders first as the emails so far are for one or two figures so there may be some RoW orders slipping out... who knows. We shall see as people report mails on KS
Yeah, mine confirmed a Dragon Sacrifice pinup + the White Speaker (2 models total).
I'm not sure what's going on with the Twilight Knight we're supposed to get (one per backer for any physical goods), and I'm wondering if it'll be bundled with the Game.

It looks like the rules and challenges are being held back until later to avoid any spoilers. I would guess the printed versions will ship with the expansions
I got an email for a white speaker and a t-shirt today.
Which was odd, since I don't remember ordering either one of those items, my pledge manager receipt doesn't mention them, and I didn't get a survivor pledge (they were never able to bump me from base game to the next pledge level).
I guess I'll wait and see what ends up arriving.
Weird. Maybe it was just a generic letter that went out to everyone for whatever small items are shipping? I know I got a few messengers.
