And here I was thinking that stuff would be unveiled at the start of the campaign..

Well had it funded slower it would have been shown as it was unlocked through the campaign. We unlocked it all straight away but he spread the reveals out like they would have been anyway.

For a complete newbie to KD, have to say this is a pretty exciting KS projects.

The only downside is that other commitments have made me drop my pledge level - desperately hoping that there is an option to get the basic 1.5 game once the pledge manager becomes available!

Also the updated list is here attached he has updated all but a 4mill goal and to smaller boxes
The beast from the end of the video is not listed and he said all plained expansions were to be before the brake
some are wondering if it was added to the core after all it had to be plained to be in the video

Pacific- I believe last KS, you were allowed to add on but couldn't change pledge level. Since he's sounded reluctant to add a PM of any kind (though in all likelihood still will...), I wouldn't bank on being able to change that part of your pledge, post-KS.

Said it before, but I was told last time I couldn't change my actual pledge level despite pestering them relentlessly about it.

The next change log reveal is a pretty big jump (from 1.5 million to 4 million). Not that the values mean anything anymore, but makes me curious if it'll be a more substantial change.
Also consider that the changelog has continued to grow and expand over the course of the campaign.

I admire the fact he's stuck to taking a break. Dude honestly hasn't logged in (at least on the main KD account) since the 25th.

Wish I could say the same for myself...

The campaign itself seems like a confused mess. But some of those monsters are too awesome not to want to own.

I get the idea that do to how much he lost last KS he wishes this one to run smother he also has in the FAQ that the PM will be only for picking what you need and shipping and if you want something pledge for it (he may still open up for the new expansions at a higher price point as they are still a good time away)

Same I was expecting a small update for getting the 8.5 mill mark he set for the SS nemesis that is with the 4 SS survivors might have to do the $40 if they look cool

My wife and I are finding we LOVE game systems, much more than games, and in the co-op world, stuff like Kingdom Death and Shadows of Brimstone, are just so rare.

Yeah, its easy to be stunned by sticker shock, throwing $500... hell $1000 at one "game", but if we play it constantly for six months+, and enjoy it more than 10 other $100 Fantasy Flight offerings (which are becoming a worse value with every day thanks to Asmodee's influence), then I think it is alright.

It's good value, even if you're in it just for the minis or the game, which can be played just fine with tokens instead of the models.

Speaking of which, if anyone wants just the minis, I'm interested in deals if you want to split a set since there are a few where I'd want rules but don't care about the model.

I'm chatting over some and there are some where I'll be getting the kits so can't guarantee it, but if you're interested in expansions only for model content (or especially if you're only getting it for the monster and would be open to leaving the armor sets and rules), please PM me.

Christmas was good. I'll have to send you a PM, but I'm looking to get a lot of expansions, and I'm willing to part with allllll the rules.

I've given up on the main box, but I'd still be interested in buying a King's Hand, Watcher, or some of the armor sets off anyone who doesn't need them.

I am very surprised that we have not seen an update in a while!

To be entirely honest I doubt he "took a break" but more said he will to steer the crowd, he probably did want to create a stall in the campaigns progress so he can evaluate a few things, who will leave in this pause, who are committed, what is the actual progress rate and to see what the manufacturer and he can arrange for the unplanned expansions.

He gives the impression of an artist that does not care, but from the side words I get the impression he is now quite conscious on the logistics and the dangers the runaway success has for him and his company and plays the cautious game.

He also maybe prepares a few updates in advance, he will probably still pretend he makes them the last moment in order to keep his "persona".

I would hope that he would be conscious about logistics and cost, after the consistent issues and delays from the first kickstarter. He seems to have learned his lesson this time around, but we shall see.

The limited bundled deals, the pay later shipping and the "irregular" discount on the expansions seem to indicate that he has learned his lesson quite well.

It seems tidier than the last KS for sure, however it's still a bit messy, hopefully Adam will put up a proper 'menu' when he returns.

He said yesterday that today will be the new update, now we wait.

Would a backer be so kind as to check for me if a gambler's chest can be added to a add only pledge? I'm tempted to just grab that and a pinup or two to paint as I don't have the spare cash to get into the game itself for now (hopefully for the next kickstarter :p )
I see nothing preventing this but there might be to limit scalping or somesuch

I asked if you will be able to buy the gamblers chest with an add ons only pledge for you and this is the response

Most likely, the Gambler’s Chest will be available via the pledge manager at a much higher price. I can’t afford to let people willy nilly add that to their pledges for $100.

so it may well be that getting a silver lantern pledge ($195) and then selling off the Upgrade pack (its got that smoke knight in plus a hardcover rule book so has value beyond people with the first version of the game) and the First Hero expansion may well work out cheaper than just trying to add the GC

So, KD:M 1.5 has officially beat Exploding Kittens' pledge total.

Good for them! I hope they get over $10 mil. It's exciting to see a game from our little hobby doing so well. I still haven't backed but I probably will before the end. It's just a big price tag and I worry that I probably will never end up playing it. I'd just paint a few minis and then the rest will find it's place among many other games at the bottom of my nerd closet.
