I would have loved to, but I've been so busy lately (ah, the joys of school administration in the fall). That and they just pump out so many previews at this point, it is hard to keep 'em straight.
As for those images, I love the mono-tread bike. Definitely some improvements over the initial renders (such as reinforcing the foot rests over the exhaust system, saddle bags, etc.). They look great with the rest of the stuff in-faction. Definitely glad I picked up a few of 'em.
Love the Hatamoto, not as huge as I was imagining, but considering they are a 5-man box and not a 3-man, it makes sense. But the overall bulk of the power suit looks great, and this should leave them room for larger variants between infantry-size and the Meka.
The Scorpion is looking fantastic, though suffering a bit from Infinity-base-syndrome (at least this one doesn't require base add-ons). Once painted up, they should look quite imposing on the field.
Man, I can't wait for my stuff to arrive. This is the downside to a big order in a KS with a rolling delivery as things get finished, the wait.
I can't wait to start seeing some of the super heavies though. The tanks are going to look great.

Got my KS delivery today,
Purple Shark jetbikes and Vorreiter treadbikes
I'll see if I can get some pictures up later when I've got a chance to check them over Automatically Appended Next Post: I've now had a chance to look over the casts and can give a first impressions review
The resin feels good, and should stand up as well as polystyrene and restic to use on the gaming table (yes you can snap thin bits but you can do that with other materials too).
There are no visible bubbles and in general the casts are clean with only minimal fine flash
The Purple Shark rider comes with an unexpected second head which is cool
but there are some ugly mould offsets on the track of the Vorreiter and underneath the purple shark (shown in pictures),
now I don't want to make too much of this it can be cleaned up (and you won't see that part of the purple shark anyway) but it should be mentioned
and the detail on both of the vehicles feels ever so slightly 'soft' rather than 'crisp'.... It's very hard to figure out why I feel this way as the detail is there and is well defined so it could be an illusion ?
Anyway I'm very happy with both of the items, they were well worth the prices I paid for them

Aww, damn, you guys are making me jealous here.
Thanks for the multiple shots on the Vorreiter in either case. I have a good number of 'em coming my way, and seeing them from new angles is always appreciated. As for the details, they do look fine, but I can see what you mean about the softness. It may be a combination of the offset along the lower tracks marring the details a bit (luckily it mostly seems to be along the bottom) and some of the angles looking kind of hand-sculpted (which is hard to explain, and not actually a bad thing). On the tread bike at least, the angle of the exhaust is a bit more "organic" than I would expect from a digital sculpt and some of the other bits like the angled plating in front of the driver and the box the MG's are mounted in look similar.
But looking at everything, the detail all seems to be there. So it may just be something about the hue of the material causing an optical illusion along with that kind of hand-sculpted look in places where most digital sculpts would be a lot more straight, regimented and angular. Either way, the material on the vehicles seems to have a slight blue tinge to it which is at least a bit different than normal resin mixes (and it looks like a different mix than the infantry) so that could be the culprit (unless the hue difference is simply from the camera itself).
How well does the material clean up? Does it take well to filing or is is fibrous like original recipe restic? I've basically trained myself just to use a hobby knife for most cleaning work now, but it's always nice if I can use a needle file to do some tight spaces.
But either way, I hate you guys eternally for getting your stuff before me. Sleep with one eye open.

The material is quite soft and seems to take filing just fine. While some bits might require quite a lot of cleaning, the cleanup itself is easy. It definitely seems better than Finecast in most aspects. Regarding the details, I guess the feeling comes mostly from the light properties of the material; while there are some "soft" details on the miniatures, most are well defined.

The clean up is fairly straightforward and the material behaves similar to polystyrene & other resins, so cuts, files and sands OK
There if a fair amount of colour variation in what I got from grey though to pale blue (the half blue half grey purple shark looks odd at the moment, LOL)
going back to look at the renders there clearly have been some changes to get to the physical models (the exhaust pipes on the side of the purple shark are significantly different)

Heh, the mold seam on the Vorreitor almost makes it look like the bike has two treads now instead of one. At least like that it might be easier to turn it.
I'm rather jealous of you guys too. I can't wait to get my Cybertronic and Bauhaus starters.

Actually, it is supposed to be two treads now. They ended up changing the design quite a bit after feedback and twin-treads were part of it. So that bit, at least, isn't from the seem (or at least shouldn't be). I personally liked the mono-tread, but I am glad they also integrated some reinforcement on the exhausts so it looks like one could actually rest their feet on them.

Not a fan of the change to two treads, and it actually doesn't make any sence at all. The models still look cool though.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan either. I liked the single tread design, but the vox populi spoke in this case. At least it is easier to fill the gap than it is to create it. May end up just re-sculpting the mono-tread on mine.

Yeah I'll add my voice to that, the two threaded one is only easier to turn when standing still, and it at least doubles it's weight. they took a working real life concept and dumbed it down because people who don't get physics complained.
How do you think the AVP release will affect WZ:R?

Alright, trawling through the posts about the convention to catch some news from those who have the book.
The new units are *drum roll*
Brotherhood
Guardiani Oblati
Not to down on my BHood stuff, but these sound brand new. No other news on them yet.
Cybertronic
Voltigeur
Sounds to be another new one. Apparently some kind of light vehicle (a four-legged walker, in fact) that has some form of attack drone.
Mishima
Crimson Devils
Demon Hunters
Tiger Dragons
Kunshu Dragon Riders
The first three are classics. Crimson Devils are a basic infantry unit recruited from criminal groups for dangerous missions. The Demon Hunters are heavily armed elite warriors (at least in most incarnations). And Tiger Dragons are CQB units in power armour (the KS exclusive Mishima Doomtrooper is armed and armoured like one). The last one appears to be some sort of cavalry unit. Good show and really helps fill the faction out.
Bauhaus
Artillery Korps
Not much info on these unfortunately. But I always like the sound of more big guns.
Capitol
K-9 Team
Troopers with dogs, whats not to love? This one appeared to be a favourite for inclusion in Capitol judging from a lot of net-banter. So there it is.
Dark Legion
Valpurgius
Another special character Nepharite from the original source material (and I can't wait to see the mini for it, Valpurgius deserved better than he got).
So a lot of new stuff for Mishima and a random smattering for the rest to fill in a few gaps. Can't wait to see the rules (and apparently the rule books are gorgeous in person). I especially want to see what the second play-test pass did in terms of balance. Argh, the waiting is so difficult.

Dragon Riders were an old unit riding dinosaur-like creatures:

Also, wonder when DL will get some more stuff, Valpurgius is nice, but there are so many individual characters in the HQ slot already. A generic customizable nepharite would be nice.

Well, the book itself does contain generic hero creation rules. But I do agree, some kind of multi-part hero kit would be nice to see soon. But in the meantime, conversions and the rules in the book should help.

Be on the look out for it to hit retail in the very least to have some ship/space station combat goin' on.
